Nourish Your Inner Goddess with Yoplait Greek {Review & Giveaway}

{This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to those who entered!}

Both Big Sister E and Little Sister B have their ups and downs in terms of what they will eat around here. One day, it's only plain noodles with cheese. The next, it's a bean and cheese quesadilla. After that? A refusal to even touch anything that resembles pasta or a tortilla. It's definitely a guessing game.

However, one item that consistently remains a favorite for the whole family is yogurt. Big Sister E will work to scrape out every last drop from the bottom of her bowl while Little Sister B will sit back and let me scoop bite after bite into her mouth, a look of satisfaction on her face the entire time.

Along with knowing that they love it, I like giving yogurt to my kids (and myself) because of the variety of health benefits we receive from it. So, when I heard that Yoplait, already one of our favorite brands, came out with Yoplait Greek that incorporates 12 grams of protein in every serving but still has the same great taste that we love... well, I knew right away that it would be a big hit.

Due to having twice the protein than the leading yogurt, Yoplait Greek is thicker and creamier than traditional yogurt but with 0% fat, a definite bonus. We opted to try the strawberry and blueberry flavors, two of our usual favorites (Big Sister E calls them "the pink" and "the purple" yogurt).

Right out of the container, we found that Yoplait Greek has a smooth and dense texture and tastes less sugary sweet than some yogurts that we are used to. I was pretty certain that my daughters wouldn't be happy with the change but, to my pleasant surprise, they gobbled it up!

I had planned on trying out at least one of the great recipes available on the Yoplait Greek website (the Easy Strawberry-Banana Smoothie sure sounds tasty) but the girls ate all of the yogurt up by itself, leaving none to mix. Considering that they received such a large amount of protein (which they need in their picky kids-diet) without any fuss, we all still ended up happy. Thanks, Yoplait Greek!

To celebrate the new Greek yogurt and to encourage women to nourish their inner goddess, Yoplait and actress Izabella Miko (who plays Greek Goddess Athena in the new feature "Clash of the Titans") have teamed up to help bring a little relaxation and pampering into our lives as well. And around here, everyone needs a chance to bring some extra calming moments into our days...

I've got the towel-robe and slippers, just point me towards the spa!

One lucky person will win a Nourish Your Inner Goddess prize pack containing 2 Yoplait Greek VIP coupons*, robe, slippers, wooden massager and more fun spa goodies!
