Naturalizer Footwear {Review & Giveaway}

Naturalizer logo{This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, the Schmidts!}

I'm going to say it: shoes have the ability to make me happy.

The styles, the colors, the way they can transform a look just by slipping them on... it's no wonder that the shoes were what Cinderella truly needed to turn into a princess.

However, could those glass slippers really have been all that comfortable? When I was younger I would have sacrificed fit for fashion if it meant that I would have looked my best while out with Prince Charming, but now? Now I know that fashion and appearance matter, but you don't necessarily have to put your feet through pain to achieve them.

Although for some women's footwear brands choosing comfort might also mean choosing frumpy, that's not always the case. Not when Naturalizer has so many stylish and high quality options that still leave your feet feeling pampered and prepared to take on your wicked stepmother... or, you know, everyday life.

Naturalizer shoesSince 1927, Naturalizer has proven that wearing the latest footwear fashions can be comfortable, stylish and affordable all in one. With rich leathers, soft suedes, and beautiful, trendy details, Naturalizer shoes provide the ultimate in style as well as comfort.

Available in a broad range of sizes and widths from sizes 4.5 to 12 with narrow, medium and wide widths in most styles, the NaturalizerNaturalizer boots line offers the influence of current fashion, blended with the enduring style women have come to expect from the brand.

Their new fall collection has something for everyone, with feminine details and styles inspired by a range of classic and contemporary trends. You'll find tall boots, loafers, wedges, pumps, platforms, flats, booties and oxfords in the rich colors and versatile looks that will take you from casual to professional to dressy with ease.

When the Irma pumps arrived from Naturalizer, I couldn't do much more than sit back and admire their beauty right out of the box.

Naturalizer Irma reviewWelcome, Irma. Thanks so much for coming over.

Right away I was drawn to the chic style of the Mary Jane design and the feminine details that give these an extra something over traditional pumps. From the two-toned leather upper to the visible stitching, I knew that this was one pair of shoes that would work for multiple occasions effortlessly.

Naturalizer reviewAs I tried on the Irma for the first time, I was slightly hesitant that the 3½" heel height was going to be too high compared to what I was used to, but I found that it wasn't the case at all. The full height is made up of a combination of the 2¾" heel and a ¾" platform midsole so together it doesn't feel as though I'm wearing nearly as high of shoes.

platform heelsAs for the look and feel when worn?

Great! The adjustable Mary Jane instep strap ensures a custom fit and the smooth lining and cushioning insole really do make me feel as though I'm not standing in constrictive high heels.

women's shoesHaving read about Naturalizer's N5 Comfort – five distinctive features that provide flexibility, lightness, balance, softness and breathability in every step – I was so glad to see that the Irma really do continue to feel comfortable throughout the entire time that I'm wearing them.

Instead of aches and pains after 10 minutes, the feel is noticeably more natural and means I don't have to plan on taking off my shoes and carrying them around!

women's footwearFrom day to evening to special occasion, Naturalizer knows that women want chic fashions but don't have the time to deal with aching arches or scrunched toes. Instead, they are known for being focused on delivering shoes that make you look good and feel good... so go ahead and live your life and love your shoes!

Retailing for $89, the Irma are available in the Coffee Bean color combination that I received as well as an all-black style. You can find out much more about them as well as Naturalizer's other beautiful shoes, sandals, boots, bags and accessories on Naturalizer.com.

And, thanks to their generosity, one person will be able to select just the footwear that will be right for dress, casual, fitness or work for their lifestyle, because...

One lucky person will win their choice of shoes from Naturalizer!
