Sometimes I find it ironic that I look at the kitchen and think Again? Now what am I going to make? while my kids can see play kitchens from a mile away and are clamoring over themselves to have the chance to do some cooking or baking.

Starting with the movable mixer that can be lifted up and down into the bowl, the child-sized rolling pin, measuring spoon and spatula and the two tasty cookies on their own cookie pan, all that is needed is a little imagination and kid-power for playing to begin.

As much as I appreciated the solid wood construction and lack of noise and batteries required for this Baking Set, Big Sister E and Little Sister B were much more into the fun they were having baking. Each piece was just right for stirring and mixing and every time their cookies were "done," they were just as excited as the time before.

after all, it's hot right out of the oven, right?

This Kidkraft Baking Set definitely has a permanent position in my girls' kitchen and, due to its quality wood and craftsmanship, I have no doubt that it will stay there for years to come. The creativity, imagination and complete entertainment that it has provided has truly been great to see.
