Trendy Tadpole {Review & Giveaway} Hip Tops for Trendy Tots

Do you ever browse the clothing racks in stores or online and just think that everything looks like the same old, same old as everywhere else? The girls' clothing has sweet little hearts and flowers and the boys' clothing (not that I shop for it, but I still notice) seems to always have a variety of trucks or jungle animals across the front.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with dressing kids in those, particularly if they like hearts, flowers, trucks or animals, but I just always like my daughters to have something a little more unique. Who says that t-shirts or onesies can't be attractive and fun for kids while making them stand out from the crowd just a bit? And one of my favorite sites to find just the right combination of that is none other than Trendy Tadpole.
A one-woman shop, Julie Pruitt brings "pop culture, a hint of nostalgia and a pinch of fun" to all of the great designs offered at Trendy Tadpole. Instead of styles that are common or ordinary, it will only take one visit here to find that this is where hip parents come to shop for cool baby clothes.

Whether you're looking for something witty, chic or just plain funny, Trendy Tadpole has sizes that run from 3-6 months all the way through adult, so you know you're going to be able to outfit your entire family and all look good. Plus, these great designs are printed on well-made, high quality, extra-soft American Apparel brand shirts, which we have always really loved. They do run a size or so small, but as long as you order up, you'll have a great fit that will last beautifully through wash after wash.

But Big Sister E sort of rolled her eyes at me when I marveled at how nice her Oh Snap! shirt felt - she just wanted to put it on. And who could blame her?

From the first time she wore this out in public, Big Sister E has received comments and compliments on her Trendy Tadpole shirt. The Children's Librarian at our weekly story time actually gasped when we arrived and, almost in amazement, looked at us and said, "Oh snap! I love it!" This unique, modern design really couldn't be any more fun - Big Sister E loves the frog (Little Sister B likes to ribbit at her when she sees it as well) and adults and kids alike tell her how cute it is. Definitely a win-win situation!

With sayings and styles appropriate for all ages, every time I browse at Trendy Tadpole I find a new favorite. Little Sister B has the cutest little round belly that would be adorable in the Buddha Belly design... although I would have to make sure to get her a t-shirt instead of a onesie. She is awfully proud of her stomach and gets a little frustrated when she can't lift up her shirt to show it off. I envy her delight in it!
