With the continuous arrival of new programming on television, the kids and I often come across a few shows and characters that we hadn't seen before.

While some have caught their attention and prove to be memorable, educational and entertaining, the initial appeal of others fades away pretty quickly. It's hard work to create plots and storylines that are loved by kids as well as adults!

When it comes time to look to those shows that have proven be classics and have entertained children for decades with their imaginative tales and adventures, one name that definitely comes to mind as being universally-loved by boys and girls of all ages is surely Thomas & Friends.
