Of course he needed the charger, he was on his way to the airport that afternoon for a business trip and, let's face it, traveling when your phone has a dead battery is the pits.

I cant tell you how many times we have forgot a charger or that we ended up staying over someplace longer than expected without a backup charger or that person not having a compatible charger.
