Pound Puppies: A Perfect Match DVD {Review & Giveaway}

Shout Factory Hasbro Studios logo
While some of the characters and shows from my own childhood have stayed the same decade after decade, there are others that have adapted and have become more modern. Maybe a slight change to the look, but, at the core, the same timeless classic tales that promote caring, friendship and teamwork.

Which is why I'm happy that I have two of my own fans of Pound Puppies who were just as excited as I was to hear that today, April 8th, 2014, Shout! Factory Kids and Hasbro Studios has released Pound Puppies: A Perfect Match on DVD!

Pound Puppies A Perfect Match

Everyone's favorite adorable puppies continue their mission to find a person for every pup in Pound Puppies: A Perfect Match!

As not every puppy is perfect for every person, it's time to join Lucky, Cookie, Niblet, Strudel and Squirt as they make sure their furry friends end up in the right hands in five fun-filled adventures on this DVD. Now that's something to bark about!

Pound Puppies cast

In this collection of their newest adventures, the Pound Puppies find they have their paws full from beginning to end. They come to the rescue when a so-called "un-matchable puppy" finally finds his match – and loses him; assist a shy puppy on a High Energy Scouts camping trip; help a furless pup to bolster his confidence; and they have to investigate why a paper girl's deliveries are always late!

Episodes Include:
  • The Yipper Caper
  • Working K-9 to 5
  • Hello Kitten
  • Beauty is Only Fur Deep
  • No More S'mores
The Pound Puppies

As the winner of the 2012 Humanitas Prize in Children's Animation, the Pound Puppies series is currently airing on The Hub in the U.S. and YTV in Canada and stars the voices of Eric McCormack, Yvette Nicole Brown, Michael Rapaport, John DiMaggio, Alanna Ubach, René Auberjonois, and M. Emmet Walsh.

As these adorable dogs have turned from the stuffed animal pals of my youth into intelligent, kind, genuine stars of TV, what better way to include them into this generation than with the 110 minutes of entertainment and positive messages found in Pound Puppies: A Perfect Match?

Find out more about this newly-released DVD (MSRP $9.99) by visiting Shout! Factory's website and be sure to pick up a copy today in stores or online from Amazon.com.

Plus, thanks to the producers' generosity, one person will be having even more puppy-tastic fun in their home as well, because...

One lucky person will win a copy of
Pound Puppies: A Perfect Match on DVD!
