Wow Your Guests with PercyVites Personalized Video Invitations!

PercyVites logo
I love birthday parties. Whether they are for the very young and feature a lot of cake smushing or for those of us a little more "seasoned" and only include a few friends meeting up for drinks, there is something about having a celebration to mark another year of our lives that makes me happy.

When it comes to my children, we have had a variety of parties over the years ranging from large to small. And, while coming up with a theme or a cake flavor doesn't always prove to be too difficult, I find that we have gotten stumped more than once figuring out invitations. Do we mail cards? Send an email? Do an e-vite?

With Little Sister B's eighth birthday right around the corner, I'm thrilled that we've now found a better way. From now on we're going to wow our young guests with a unique, personalized video invitation from PercyVites!

PercyVites characters

Founded in 2010, PercyVites is the most personalized interactive video tool in the party product and planning category, offering quick, convenient, and efficient party planning all with a click of a button. The personalized video invitations are perfect for people of all ages, with licensed favorites for kids and a variety of chic creations for adults.

Users can insert their own pictures, party details, and messages directly in various fun clips and personally address them to each friend and family member. Even better, PercyVites includes their Percy Party Dashboard, allowing for easy organization of party details and RSVPs, simplifying the entire party planning process from start to finish.

Pretty cool, right?

I already thought that the idea of sending an animated, custom video invitation was innovative and fun, but then I found out that PercyVites has added new licensed characters to their lineup making the selection even better. But as much as Little Sister B would enjoy Little Charmers or Lalaloopsy, I knew that she would flip over the addition of Shopkins!

PercyVites Shopkins

I have yet to meet a young girl who doesn't love Shopkins, the miniature grocery store-themed characters that kids can collect, share, and trade. So what could be better than seeing them come to life in PercyVites' creative and colorful video invitation?

Simply click through PercyVites' user friendly interface to add your event details such as the guest of honor, date, time, location, and any special messages that invitees need to know. Then include a photo (how fun!), add guests' contact info, and select a date for the invitations to be automatically sent out.

Just check out the adorable finished results!

Once you have all of the steps personalized, you're even able to see a full preview of your video to ensure that it is exactly the way that you want it — something I especially appreciate. No worries that it will be sent through cyberspace with the wrong date or a misspelling!

In all, I love that PercyVites makes it so simple to have all of the party information in one spot so that the planning is convenient and easy. At the same time, how excited would a girl be to receive one of these invitations? I know that my little birthday girl can't wait to send them out and get ready to be a star on her big day!

All that we have left is to head to Cakes.com to pick up some extremely cute cake decorating tools (e.g. candles, edible cake toppers, cupcake rings, and more) and it's Shopkins party time!

PercyVites personalized photo

Retailing for 79¢ per invitation, including PercyVites as part of your party planning process is such an innovative, entertaining way to get kids (or adults) looking forward to your event even more. The entire process takes only minutes to complete from start to finish and with so many themes and characters to choose from, you're sure to find one to kick off your next gathering with pizzazz.

Find out more about these unique party invitations (you can also send thank you's after your party just as easily!) by visiting PercyVites.com and connecting with them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

I received information, a PercyVites promo code, Shopkins product, and Cakes.com decor items in order to help facilitate this review. However, opinions shared are 100% honest and my own.

National Mom's Nite Out: The Ultimate Celebration of Motherhood {#NMNO15}

Let's have a little heart-to-heart, shall we, moms?

Think back to the last time you spent an evening out simply chatting and having fun with your best girlfriends. No kids, no dates, no forced attendance to an event or social outing that left you feeling uncomfortable; just laughter and relaxation with your friends.

Now, how long ago was this evening? A few weeks? A few months? Even more? If it's been a while, you're not alone! It's not uncommon for moms to get overwhelmed with responsibilities and full schedules that don't seem to allow for quality time with friends.

Which is exactly why there is no excuse to not put your foot down once a year and join women everywhere annually to celebrate the one and only National Mom's Nite Out!

Moms Night Out Logo

Founded in 2008, National Mom's Nite Out is an annual event that gives moms the opportunity to join together and celebrate motherhood. Each year, moms all over the world host National Mom's Nite Out events in their homes and communities by inviting their best girlfriends out for a night of fun conversation, snacks, and drinks.

This year, National Mom's Nite Out fell on Thursday, May 7th (don't be bummed that it has already passed, just mark your calendar and start planning for next year's event on May 5th, 2016!) and I was more than happy to have an extra excuse to plan a special evening filled with laughter and friendship with some of my favorite moms!

Even better, a party kit filled with fun activities, recipe and craft ideas, and goodies from names including HP, MyPrintly, Bicycle Playing Cards, Provident Films, Entenmann's, and more arrived to make the night even more unforgettable.

Mom's Nite Out party

Who wouldn't have fun with a spread like this?

I am respecting a few of my friends' wishes to not include their photographs online, however, I can't help but share a bit of the entertainment and good times that we had with some of these items.

We enjoyed the delicious, melt-in-your-mouth goodness of Entenmann's Little Bites (chocolate chip!) and all agreed that their delicious pre-portioned pouches are perfect for snacking just about anytime, anywhere. Any leftovers have been going with my girls in school lunches, for after soccer games, and more!

Entenmann's Little Bites

Also, anyone who wanted to had a sample of the Cordina Classic Lime Mar-GO-rita...

Cordina Mar-go-rita

...while there was no shortage of drink mix inspiration thanks to the hilarious Bicycle Cocktail Party playing cards.

The look on my friends' faces were priceless when they realized that what looked like a traditional deck of playing cards...

Bicycle playing cards

...actually each feature a unique drink recipe right on the cards themselves!

drink recipe playing cards

Who knew that you could turn to your deck of cards for recipes for a tasty Mimosa or Grasshopper?

Along with these fun snacks, drinks and games, our Mom's Nite Out was filled with a great deal of talking, catching up and laughter. There is no doubt that, as moms, we cherish and adore our children... but it is just good for the soul to have an evening away with friends just relaxing and being ourselves!

As the party started to wind down, I did make sure that each of my gals took home a goodie bag...

Mom goodie bags

...that included their own deck of Bicycle Cocktail Party playing cards, assorted snacks, candies, a very cool HP Photo Card Pack from MyPrintly (with instructions from me to visit the MyPrintly website to get inspired to create unique and personalized craft projects of their own), and more.

MyPrintly

Could I have done more to decorate and plan and prepare for my party? Sure. But did it turn out to be a fantastic, memorable evening anyway simply because it was spent with friends having a great time? Absolutely!

Don't you and your friends deserve to relax, reconnect, socialize and enjoy some well-deserved girl time? Then head over to MomsNiteOut.org to find out much more about this amazing event and how you can participate next year and long into the future. You'll also want to connect with Mom's Nite Out on Twitter and Facebook as well as throughout social media at the hashtag #NMNO15 to see even more great recaps of this year's extravaganzas!

I received free products in order to host a National Mom's Nite Out party, however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are honest and my own.

Fun, Laughter and Deliciousness at Our #DisneySide @Home Celebration {Mickey Mouse Monkey Bread Recipe}

I have said it before and I'll say it again, but there is something inherently magical about Disney.

It doesn't matter if you are an über-fan or simply find it difficult to name your child's favorite character without realizing that the car or toy or princess or superhero is connected back to that same mouse, Disney holds a special spot in our lives and our culture.

And, as much as I have always been awed and amazed at the wonder, care and imagination that goes into everything and anything Disney, it has increased infinitely now that I can see it through the eyes of my children. The way that they giggle over photos of our visits to the parks, the way that their eyes light up when they have a chance to meet their favorite characters, the way that they can't wait to see the little bonus clip at the end of the credits of Disney movies...

What can I say? The way that they love Disney touches my heart in its own magical way! Therefore, if we're called upon to...

Disney Side party

...there is never any doubt that we are thrilled to join in and host our own Disney Side @Home Celebration!

If you're somehow unfamiliar with Disney's theme phrase "Disney Side," they define it as that fun-loving adventurous spirit that comes out to play when you're feeling the Disney magic! Whether you show your Disney Side through fashion, food, or your favorite characters, or frequent visits to Disney Parks, it's time to let it shine. Gather your fellow Disney fans, grab your Mickey ears and prepare to sprinkle some pixie dust on those who cross your path as you let your Disney Side take over!

No matter where you search for #DisneySide (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and more) or how many times you visit DisneySide.com, you're sure to love seeing all of the fantastic ways that people near and far are showing off their Disney spirit!

As for us, it didn't matter that we didn't have a specific event in mind to celebrate, we were still more than ready to include some Disney love into an afternoon of fun... and then a box of goodies arrived that took our excitement an entirely new level. You just never know what might be inside a box from Disney and this one was just about overflowing with entertainment!

DisneySide Party Supplies

Food, decorations, invitations, toys, games, activities... what more could we need? It was time to invite some friends over and have some Disney fun!

Disney Party invitations

Although we weren't planning on serving a full spread of food at our party, I still wanted to have snacks for the kids (and their parents) to munch on. Besides, what sort of fun would a Disney Side @Home Celebration be without a sweet treat or two in the shape of the main mouse himself?

Which is why it was time to pull together a few simple ingredients, a little creativity, and a shaped pan to come up with an adorable plate oozing with the delicious flavor and aroma of Mickey Mouse Monkey Bread.

mickey mouse monkey bread

It may not have turned out a mirror image of Mickey, but you can tell it's him if you use your imagination, right?

Here, does this help?

Mickey Mouse monkey bread recipe.jpg

The kids could tell, that's what mattered!

Plus, our Mickey Mouse Monkey Bread not only represented Mickey in its full form, but, as Little Sister B pointed out, looked like mouse ears when pulled apart, too!

mickey mouse bread

So much fun and full of sticky goodness from the first bite to the last! Plus, this Monkey Bread couldn't have been much easier to make. I opted to try a recipe posted from The Pioneer Woman and, as I suspected, it barely took any work before this was in the oven.

Mickey Mouse Monkey Bread

Ingredients

3 cans regular (non-flaky) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 cup sugar
2-3 tsp cinnamon
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
½ cup brown sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly spray Mickey Mouse shaped pan with cooking spray.

Open cans of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Set aside.

Combine sugar with cinnamon in a 1 gallon zip bag and shake to mix evenly.

Drop all of the biscuit quarters into the cinnamon-sugar mix, seal closed and shake until all pieces are coated with cinnamon-sugar. Spread evenly in prepared pan.

Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring for a few minutes until the two are thoroughly mixed. Pour mixture over biscuit pieces in pan.

Bake for 30-40 minutes until the crust is a deep dark brown on top. Cool for 15-30 minutes before turning over onto plate to serve.

monkey bread

Mmmmm!

While the Mickey Mouse Monkey Bread was a hit in its own right (obviously!), the kids also had a blast playing all sorts of games and activities throughout the afternoon.

The Disney Trivia cards (did you know that Mickey Mouse was originally voiced by Walt Disney himself? Or that Disneyland Resort is the #1 most-Instagrammed place in the U.S.?) included questions that puzzled even a few adults, Pin The Smile On Mickey brought a whole lot of laughter to the participants...

pin the smile on mickey

...while the Disney Word Searches and Disney Bingo were a blast to return to time and again.

Disney games

We lucked out with a tiny bit of warm weather (you never know what the temperatures will be in the Midwest in early spring!) and the kids were also able to play indoors as well as out.

Between the fun that Disney provided (there are a ton of downloads available for anyone to print off!), the addition of our many princess costumes, Disney tattoos, and the ability to burn a little energy jumping on our trampoline, the afternoon was a complete success!

DisneySide party

As usual, if we had had more time, there were a whole slew of Disney crafts, Disney movies, Disney make-believe and more that we would have enjoyed as well... the options are endless and I have no doubt that we'll be including them into future parties. The love for Disney is universal!

Plus, if we ever manage to get through our own list of ideas, there is no shortage of recipes, activities, themes and more to inspire just about anyone at DisneySideCelebrations.com. There is absolutely something for everyone!

As much fun as our simple (but still completely enjoyable) Disney Side @Home Celebration was, it did have the unfortunate side effect of making us yearn for a bit of the real thing — particularly when a few of the kids stopped to work on their My Family Tree of Life Poster.

family tree

If you've been to Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World, then the amazing tree in the center of this poster will look familiar to you.

This is one place that my kids haven't been to see (actually Big Sister E was there when she was a toddler, so she only remembers the tree from photographs) but, what they don't know is that they are going to be seeing this exact tree in person in just a few weeks... shhh! Can't wait to surprise them!!

family tree of life

In the meantime, as one added bonus to our celebration, our kittens have been in love with the box and packaging from our original Disney Side box.

They play in it, they sleep in it, they run and jump into it, they pull out strands of paper and chase them around the house... there's no explanation other than that they must love Disney just as much as we do!

cats in box

So, we've clearly got Disney on the brain around here. How do you show your Disney Side?

Other than the hostess gift pack I received from Disney Parks and Mom Select in order to facilitate and inspire our party, I was not compensated or enticed to do this post in any way. This post is solely my honest opinion about our #DisneySide!

Celebrating the Magic of Disney at our Royal Princess #DisneyKids Playdate!

show your disney side
I received free products from Walt Disney World Resort and MomSelect in order to host a Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. The opinions expressed here and honest and my own.

Although I've loved seeing my kids grow up before my eyes, I can't deny that I would give just about anything to be able to bottle up little bits of their childhood to save for later. Who can resist the wide-eyed innocence, abundance of energy and endless curiosity of preschoolers?

However, even though I know that my girls' personalities and preferences will wax and wane as they age, there is always one thing that I can count on to receive their devoted, unconditional love: Disney.

Isn't that the case for just about all of us? Whether you're an über-fan or can't help but smile at your child's affection for their favorite princess, superhero or car, Disney is a part of our lives and our culture that has always been special.

For me, as much as I have my own soft spot for the wonder, care and imagination that goes into everything and anything Disney, it is increased even more now when I can see it through the eyes of my children. So, even though it's not exactly feasible for me to bring them to visit one of the parks every other weekend, I'll always look for ways that I can bring the magic and fun to us instead.

Most recently, we channeled the Happiest Place on Earth with a memorable, unique, imaginative #DisneyKids Princess Playdate!

Disney Kids Princess Playdate

Disney doesn't leave anyone open-handed, so when a box filled with surprises arrived, we couldn't wait to start planning.

As soon as we opened things up, it was clear that it wouldn't really be possible to not have fun with all of these amazing Sofia the First goodies and party favors as well as Disney-themed activities, games, snacks and more!

Disney party supplies

Although this fall and winter has seemed especially difficult to come to a consensus on dates that multiple of our friends were available at the same time, it wasn't too hard to convince any of our other young princess fans to come over to play.

Starting with the Princess Sofia decorations and accessories that came with our kit, it wasn't long before the girls and I had our royal table set...

princess party decor

...and had donned our tiaras in time for our guests to arrive.

paper tiaras

Since there is no shortage of Disney toys, games and items to play with already in our house, I loved that our #DisneyKids could have a blast simply by playing (together or separately) with just about anything.

Besides, what kind of Princess Playdate would it be if Merida wasn't fixing toys with Doc McStuffins and Elsa wasn't showing up at Barbie's house?

girls playing

But as well as the creativity and imagination that came through from the girls on their own, everyone also had an especially great time with the Mega Bloks Barbie Build 'n Play Fairy Hideaway, the Kinetic Sand by Spin Master (this stuff is magic in itself!), and all of the activities and games that came in our kit.

I'm pretty sure that the kids could have played for days and days with the Disney Side Bingo, "Which Disney Junior Character Are You?" Fortune Tellers, Disney Attraction Matching, Disney Junior Straw Banners, and Disney Junior coloring sheets!

Disney party activities

Plus, no playdate is complete unless there are snacks, so we made sure to leave plenty of time for the girls to enjoy the tasty Crunchmaster crackers, Clif ZBars, Kellogg’s fruit snacks and our homemade princess cupcakes.

The combination of the four resulted in smiling, happy, refueled princesses that were ready to head back to even more playing!

princess cupcakes

By the time the afternoon came to an end, it was declared a definite success. If we had had more time I'm sure we could have also done some Princess crafts, played Princess movies, pulled out even more Princess party games... next time!

Plus, if we ever ran out of our own list of ideas, there is no shortage of recipes, activities, themes and more to inspire just about anyone at DisneySideCelebrations.com. There is absolutely something for everyone, whether you have a group of young princesses in your life or not!

Are you ready to show your Disney Side? Be sure to connect with Disney Parks on Twitter and YouTube, as well as following the #DisneySide hashtag on Twitter, Facebook, Vine, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram for even more magical celebrations.

Educational, Active Video Gaming for Kids: LeapTV by LeapFrog {#LeapTV}

LeapFrog logo
As a mom, I feel constantly torn between all of the choices that I make for my children. I want them to eat healthy, they want foods that are as sweet as possible. I want them to get plenty of sleep at night to be well-rested and they want to stay up as late as they can to not miss out on any fun.

When it comes to video games, sure they would love to have all of the latest and greatest gaming systems so that they could play game after game all day long, but we all know that staring at a screen isn't the most beneficial activity ever.

Fortunately, we have now been introduced to a way to incorporate education, movement and action into gaming all in one unique, child-friendly way thanks to LeapTV by LeapFrog.

LeapFrog LeapTV system

LeapFrog is known as a leader in education innovation throughout the world. Their award-winning learning toys, interactive book and map experiences, reading systems, educational gaming handhelds and learning tablets are age-appropriate, trusted by parents, valued by teachers and loved by children.

Which is why I wasn't surprised to hear that LeapFrog figured out how to make gaming smarter with their new LeapTV. This innovative system provides three ways to play — body motion, pointer play and classic control — to keep kids ages 3 to 8 entertained, involved and having a blast!

Knowing that just about any kid would have a great time pointing, jumping, wiggling, dancing, twisting and more (while also practicing their reading, math, science and problem solving), it was time to try out this great new device during our LeapTV Party!

LeapTV party

I love seeing my kids have fun and I love seeing my kids learn, so when a LeapTV and two games arrived, I was excited to see my girls and their friends have the opportunity to spend an afternoon being entertained in an educational way.

Right off the bat, setting up the LeapTV proved to be just as easy and convenient as I had hoped. After simply plugging in all of the included cables and cords, it only took a few minutes of connecting the LeapTV to our internet connection and completing the registration process.

Then it was time to play!

LeapTV set up

Just as I suspected, we had a blast!

The kids were immediately curious about the transforming, easy-to-hold controller and the instant the colorful home screen appeared, there was no stopping them from getting started.

As opposed to traditional gaming systems where I have had to spend time explaining every last detail about the gameplay to my children, the LeapTV has a simple and intuitive user interface (and clear audio prompts) that kids are able to understand and control immediately. I barely had to say a word or give an instruction the entire time each of the kids took turns playing again and again.

LeapTV controller

We began with the included Pet Play World game, which proved to be a perfect introduction to the system as a whole.

From selecting and customizing a pet (breed, colors and name) to feeding it, washing it, playing with it, designing its home, racing it and more, this "starter game" itself received plenty of attention and compliments. Our guests loved returning to change their pet, replay games, try new ones and more!

LeapTV Pet Play World

Although we probably could have continued playing Pet Play World throughout the party, I decided to mix things up by putting in LeapFrog's Dance & Learn cartridge to see what the girls thought of it.

Designed for ages 4-7 (pre-K to 1st grade), the nine dance games included in this collection got the kids into action right away as they waved, danced, shook, drummed and more right along with the upbeat music and colorful characters.

At the same time, Dance & Learn does a great job of incorporating educational curriculum right in with the fun. I don't think the kids even noticed that they were practicing rhyming, making compound words, defining action verbs, working on phonics and more — they were too busy laughing (and laughing and laughing!) while they high-fived with hamsters or froze in sassy dance positions!

LeapTV Dance & Learn

Even better, it didn't take long for the girls to realize that multiple players could participate in many of the Dance & Learn games (without the need for a second controller), so they were soon taking turns as Player 1 and Player 2... as well as just joining in with each other to turn the whole thing into one big dance party!

LeapTV Dance & Learn game

For continued learning mixed with exercise and active movement, we ended our LeapTV Party with the Sports! cartridge, which allowed the kids to interact with new as well as veteran LeapFrog characters.

Sports! is also designed for ages 4-7 and, like Dance & Learn, has the ability to be played by a solo child or with up to four players without needing to add another controller. From practicing subtraction while batting in baseball to recognizing patterns throughout an action-packed skateboard race, the nine games in this collection had the girls laughing, pointing, jumping and more as they played again and again.

LeapTV Sports

By the end of the party, I was even more impressed with LeapFrog for inventing this active video gaming system than I had thought. I love the way that kids of all ages (our guests ranged from 5 to 8) had no problem using the controller (and transforming it from a classic controller into a pointer) or moving easily between options and games.

All of the girls got a kick out of seeing themselves right in the action ("I'm on TV!") and the way that LeapFrog designed the games to automatically adjust the levels depending on the age of the player ensured that they were challenged without being frustrated. They truly have made gaming smarter, more educational and perfectly appropriate and kid-friendly!

LeapFrog LeapTV video games

While we have long loved LeapFrog and the way that their unique toys and learning solutions provide entertainment as well as educational advancement, the addition of the LeapTV fits right in. Kids are able to express their creativity and have active, happy fun all while learning and practicing a wide variety of educational skills. What more could I ask for?

Here's a quick peek at the girls in action showing off their LeapTV love!

This innovative video game system is available now from LeapFrog, Amazon and in stores near you with an MSRP of $149.99. With a library of 100+ LeapFrog educator-approved game cartridges, game downloads and videos to include, kids will never run out of fun!

Find out more about LeapTV and all of the available games and accessories available for it by visiting LeapFrog.com and connecting with them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

Motivating Kids to Be Active with LeapFrog LeapBands and CLIF Kid Zbar Protein Bars {#FitMadeFun}

LeapFrog CLIF Kid logo
One quality I have always been happy to see in both of my kids is their joy of being active.

Take them to a playground and they'll run, slide, climb and swing until it is time to leave. Set them loose in the yard and they'll jump on the trampoline or run laps around the house (don't ask me, it's something that they came up with) until dinnertime. Sign them up for tennis or soccer and they'll happily (although not extremely skillfully) participate as much as possible.

However, as my girls have gotten older, it has become clear that getting enough daily activity is more and more of a challenge — did you know that it is suggested that children 6 - 17 should do 60 minutes or more physical activity each day?

Whether because of the increasing amount of hours devoted to school and schoolwork or simply because life is busy, finding the motivation and the time for regular exercise can be difficult. But knowing that healthy, physically-active kids are more likely to be academically motivated, alert, successful, have strong muscles and bones, get better sleep, have a better outlook on life and have an increased self-esteem... well then, let's make time!

Most recently, we had that opportunity with our Fit Made Fun party sponsored by LeapFrog in honor of their new LeapBand...

LeapFrog LeapBands

...and CLIF Bar, creators of the CLIF Kid Zbar Protein bars.

CLIF Kid Zbar Protein

Together, these are the perfect tools to create an interactive experience that makes kids want to get up and get moving!

My daughters were instantly intrigued by the LeapFrog LeapBands, as these cool wearable activity trackers do much more than simply count steps. Instead, after only a minute or two of setup, LeapBand users are able to customize their own virtual pet pal — and the more that the wearer moves, the more points they earn to unlock virtual rewards for their pets and get to new levels!

At the same time, CLIF Kid Zbar Protein are made with 70% organic ingredients, offer an excellent source of calcium and are a good source of vitamin D, iron and zinc. As these protein bars are made specifically for kids' growing bodies, CLIF Kid has paid close attention to the portion size and the elimination of things like high fructose corn syrup, synthetic preservatives, artificial flavors and more.

All that's left is to invite a few friends to join in on some Fit Made Fun party time!

#FitMadeFun

When it comes to motivating kids to stay active, I'm a firm believer that the most important factor is to choose the right activities. If they aren't age-appropriate and enjoyable, kids will soon be bored, frustrated or lose focus. Instead, when an activity is fun, kids want to do more of it! Makes sense, right?

Therefore, we kept our Fit Made Fun party relaxed and informal, allowing the kids to dictate how much structure was involved. As school has just been getting underway around here, it worked out that a bunch of our friends were at our elementary school for a weekend program, backpacks and all!

However, as soon as the LeapBands were spotted, everyone forgot about school-related topics and were clamoring to pick out an animal friend to play with and wanted to immediately get active in order to take care of their new virtual pet.

LeapFrog LeapBand

These LeapBands are so much fun in terms of getting kids up and moving while letting them act goofy and be silly at the same time. If I was to simply tell my kids to "wiggle like a worm" or "waddle like a penguin," they might question my sanity... but as soon as the LeapBand prompts them to do the same thing, they're all for it!

kids acting like animals
Waddling like a penguin and jumping like a kangaroo!

When the kids weren't engaging their bodies and imaginations with the LeapBands, being able to stop and refuel with the CLIF Kid Zbar Protein bars provided just the right amount of flavor and nutrition.

I am often eating protein bars myself, so my kids were especially excited about getting to have these Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate and Chocolate Mint bars for themselves!

CLIF Kid bars

All in all, our Fit Made Fun party ended up being just as fun and low-key as I had hoped. The kids all had a great time wearing the LeapBands, climbing on the park equipment, refueling with CLIF Kid and simply running around being kids while they laughed and played.

With the weather already starting to cool off here in the Midwest, I have no doubt that we'll be reaching for our LeapBands and some CLIF Kid Zbar Protein to keep us moving as we continue into fall and throughout the long winter!
