UPrinting Custom Stickers/Labels {Review}

My husband and I have a longstanding joke that his mother could find a card for any occasion. Looking for a Valentine's Day card? Okay, anyone can find those. Looking for a Valentine's Day card for your son and daughter-in-law? A little more difficult, but still doable. Looking for a Valentine's Day card for your son and daughter-in-law that celebrates their 2.5-year-old daughter becoming a big sister two months earlier? I'm pretty sure we received it last year. When Big Sister E was born, my husband and I were just like any other new parents and took loads of pictures to document our new baby. As well as pondering the need of birthday cards for kids, another thing that has been in my mind from Big Sister E's Rock Star Party is that of sending thank you cards. Custom Stickers/Labels from UPrinting {Review & Giveaway}

Big Sister E's Rock Star Party concluded, as many kids' parties do, with her opening presents.

I wasn't much of a help in giving people gift ideas for her, partially because she is a pretty easy-going child and likes most any toy that is in front of her and partially because she already owns so many that it's hard to find something she doesn't already have. However, our family and friends did a wonderful job and Big Sister E enthusiastically opened every present with the excitement only a 3-year-old can muster.

Do you ever wonder if there is a point to buying a card for a young child's birthday party? I do. They either can't read it or they blow right past it in the effort getting straight to the gift, or both. But you have to put something, right? Otherwise the presents would all end up anonymous and that just wouldn't work on multiple levels.

What other options are there? Folding a piece of wrapping paper into a mini card and taping it on always works but I think there's still got to be something better... and I have now figured it out, thanks to UPrinting!

Big Sister E's 3rd birthday is rapidly approaching and I have been working on putting together ideas for it. But one thing that always stumps me is decorating.

Sure, there are balloons and streamers and all kinds of traditional ways to show off our celebration, but there is always something missing. My husband and I change our minds a lot when it comes to decorating our home. Ask him, and he'll put all the blame solely on me, but he's a part of the decisions, too. Or, at the very least, after being married to me for this many years, he should know how to help tone down my ideas a little bit sometimes.

Over the time that we have lived in this house, we have had a variety of art on our walls. We started by picking up a piece or two randomly in stores when it caught our eye and looked like it might match our decor.
