Juil Sandals and Shoes to Stay Grounded {Review & Giveaway}

Here in the Midwest, we have been embracing the heat ever since the snow began to melt and the temperatures stayed above freezing for a few days in a row. And if you think that the arrival of fall can put a damper on our enthusiasm for warmer weather, you're sorely mistaken.

For me, it's all about the flip flops. Once those are out, my feet are happy.

I've been known to wear them when it's still a bit too chilly for bare toes in the spring and I continue wearing them long past when they should have gone into storage in the fall. For years I purchased those cheap, $2 flip flops found at the store that are a single thin piece of rubber and not much else and I seemed to be okay with the blah styles and the lack of comfort simply because they were flip flops.

Those days, they are long gone now. When I go shopping for anything from women's sandals for myself to kids' tennis shoes for my girls, I want high quality, fashion and comfort and I won't settle for anything less.

While all of the styles of clogs and sandals (both thong and slide style for men and women) looked stylish and modern, I finally opted for the Hera sandals in the fun Magenta color... and couldn't have been more excited when they arrived the following day!

What a fun surprise to find out that every order from Juil arrives with an adorable notepad and a really colorful yoga mat bag! I love when companies go the extra step to make their customers feel as though they truly care and believe in great service even from the packaging.

But how awesome are these sandals? I love that the Hera style takes the classic flip-flop design that I have always adored but updates it in such a high quality way with their beautiful leather and copper.

Every detail of these sandals is beautifully constructed and I love the way that the Magenta coloring is really more of a soft purple. These are just right for slipping on easily with just about any outfit for a pop of color that isn't too bright or will ever go out of style!

As these Juil sandals are made with premium leathers (sourced from the world's finest tanneries), it did take me a few days of wearing them to break them in as they relaxed and shaped to the contours of my feet.

However, once that time passed, I have been reaching for these day after day because they're just so comfortable on my feet!

Although I don't know if I can claim that my Hera sandals have cleansed my body of free radicals or if wearing them has allowed me to stay connected and balanced, but I can definitely vouch that they are comfortable, true to size, and have quickly become one of my most favorite pairs.

Due to the high quality, I have no doubt that I will be wearing my Juil footwear for years to come... and now I see why so many of the reviews on their website state that customers return to purchase more colors time and again!

Juil footwear retail from $85 to $135 (the Hera are $95 or $125, depending on the color), which is higher than many other sandals that you'll find in the store... especially the $2 flip flops I used to buy! However, when it comes to the safety and comfort of your feet and the overall health of your whole body, can you really put a price on that?
