Food and Fun at Sprecher's Restaurant & Pub {#ReviewCrew}

Review-Crew-logo
Although the majority of the country thinks that all we have here in Wisconsin is snow, cheese and cows (which I'm not denying), we are also fortunate to be home to a few more favorites unique to our state.

See the Lambeau Leap in person at the infamous Lambeau Field; take in great concerts, foods and drinks at SummerFest, the nation’s largest music festival; ride the waves at Noah's Ark, the largest water park in the country, right here in Wisconsin Dells; and many more.

Most recently, my family was able to check off one more Wisconsin specialty on the list when we had a tasty lunch at Sprecher's Restaurant & Pub.

Locally owned and operated, Sprecher's has a commitment to using only the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients in the kitchens of their four Wisconsin locations. What could be better?

Whether your visit is for a family dinner, a business lunch, a special event, to hang out during happy hour or simply to comfortably enjoy your favorite televised sporting event, Sprecher's relaxed-but-elegant atmosphere works for everyone.

So how have we managed to live within 10 minutes of this award-winning restaurant and yet have never visited? With family it town, it was time to change that!

It was unfortunately a little too chilly to sit outside on Sprecher's large, beautiful patio...

...but the dark wood and the casual atmosphere of the spacious indoor dining room was plenty welcoming.

Once seated, we began to peruse the large, varied menu, specials, children's menu, drink options and more. Pasta, steaks, burgers, ribs, seafood, flatbreads, signature sandwiches, salads, soups, combos, beers, sodas, cocktails... the list goes on and on!

With so many different tastes in our family, I always appreciate when a restaurant has a varied selection because that just means an increased likelihood that everyone ends up happy!

Upon finally making our lunch selections, we were able to sit back and enjoy some time chatting (and coloring on the children's menu).

My father-in-law was pleased sampling Sprecher's renowned Cream Soda, a blend of Wisconsin honey and pure vanilla crafted in a gas-fired kettle...

Sprecher's root bear

...and, although it took a little long to get our food, the rest of us were able to join in with the compliments when our dishes arrived.

Big Sister E and Little Sister B were excited about their kids' menu corn dog and cheese raviolis...

...while us adults dug into our burgers, salad, pasta and meatloaf.

Sprecher's review

Each dish was just as tasty as it looked! Many of us cleaned our plates, while the leftovers made for a perfect lunch (for me!) the following day.

We found that the prices at Sprecher's Restaurant & Pub were reasonable to begin with, but of course the fact that we used a Restaurant.com gift certificate made the whole meal even more of a bargain! I have no doubt that we'll be visiting again and I would love to head over with friends to spend an evening out on the patio with some world-class brews and drinks!

For more information about Sprecher's Restaurant & Pub and to see if you will be near any of their four locations, visit SprechersPub.com. To find out about all of the money-saving options that Restaurant.com has to offer in your area (or in an area that you are planning to visit), head over to Restaurant.com as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

As a member of the Restaurant.com Review Crew, I have been provided gift cards and compensation in order to facilitate my reviews. However, all thoughts and opinions are honest and my own.

Putting this on the must-do list next time we're home - preferably during SummerFest. That patio looks like a perfect way to enjoy a summer evening!

This is exactly the kind of restaurant I love. And that cream soda? Swoon! Lucky you, to have a Sprecher's near you. I bet you'll find yourself there often, now that you've broken the ice.
