GIVEAWAY: Wee Squeak Adorable Shoes

Back in November, I was fortunate to review the cutest pair of Beibi Shoes from Wee Squeak and Little Sister B has been stylishly sporting them ever since. They have held up to her crawling in them, standing in them, yanking at them, tasting them... and they still look great.

While writing that review, I loved learning about Wee Squeak and how they started their great company and that 5% of their profits are donated to Half the Sky, a wonderful foundation that offers love and care for orphaned children in China. Their Beibi line keeps babies 0-24 months dressed and ready for any occasion! Yet...

I couldn't help but peek longingly at the rest of the shoes that they have to offer and fall in love with, oh, about half of the styles. How cute are the Brown Mary Jane Pink Butterfly shoes (seen at right)? The simple style and classic colors (and great sale price!) would go with anything, while their comfort and fun squeaky noise would make any little girl happy.

Equally as cute, Wee Squeak offers boys a similar style with their Brown Boys Shoe Cross Design (seen at left) that could be worn dressed up with khakis, casual with jeans or even look fashionable with a pair of shorts in warmer weather. And what little man doesn't need a pair of shoes that would help Mom keep track of him by squeaking with his every step?

And have you seen the shoes that Wee Squeak has Coming Soon? Appearing sometime this month, I really want to know if the Tattoo Slate Tennie (seen at right) comes in adult sizes... or at least really big kids' sizes, because I can usually cram my feet into those, too. I love the neutral color, the Velcro tabs and the hip tattoo detailing on the heel to give these shoes just the right amount of extra style. Adorable.

So, when Wee Squeak allowed me to review a pair of shoes from their original collection, I knew it Big Sister E's turn to get to enjoy their great shoes. As she's a tennis shoe and sweatpants type of girl, I finally decided on a pair that would go with everything she wears while still looking cute and put-together, the Brown Tennis Shoe with Pink Trim.


The day that I took these out of the box, both Big Sister E and my husband were nearby. "What's so great about those?" My husband asked. "Just you wait," I told him. I sat Big Sister E down, slid the shoes on her feet and stood her up. "Go ahead, walk in them." She gave me a questioning look and took a few steps.

I should have had the camera ready because the look on her face was priceless. She truly LIT UP with excitement over the squeaking noise.

As Big Sister E walked back and forth (and ran and jumped) around the room, enjoying every moment, my husband looked quizzically at me and asked, "And we WANT to have her make that noise every time she walks?" Clearly not knowing that Wee Squeak had already thought of that, I showed him how the squeaker can easily be removed from the heel of the shoes, resulting in cute, comfortable, well-made, quiet shoes.
