Emjoi Micro-Pedi Foot Buffer {Review}

Emjoi logoWhile hanging out with friends at the pool recently, I found myself envious of another mom's toes.

Her toes? Really? you ask.

Yes, her toes. Considering that my feet look as though they have been out and about in flip flops all summer long, they don't resemble much more than a dry, unattractive mess. Hers, on the other hand, appeared fresh from a pedicure, with a perfect coat of paint and soft, smooth skin.

Not only admiring that she took the time to enjoy a little pampering, I couldn't help but feel as though my feet could use to be taken care of as well... despite the fact that I'm too cheap to go pay pedicure prices at a salon.

Fortunately, I was able to find the same results with much less cost with my own home pedicure thanks to Emjoi and the Emjoi Micro-Pedi.

Emjoi Micro-Pedi reviewThe spa-like Micro-pedi is an innovative battery-operated foot buffer that is ideal for safe, relaxing home pedicures. As opposed to other harsh, metal scrapers available, this gentle tool beautifully buffs away rough skin and calluses to result in soft, touchable feet.

As the Micro-pedi retails for $39.95 and can be used and reused time and again, I was interested in finding out just how effective it would be. After all, for the cost of just one professional pedicure, I could be able to enjoy them as often as I wanted from the comfort of my own home - what more could I ask for?

Emjoi Micro-Pedi ReviewComing complete with the ergonomically designed Micro-Pedi, two different rollers for custom results (magenta for coarse skin and blue for extra coarse), a cleaning brush, and an instruction booklet, it turned out that there wasn't much that I needed to know in order to start using this device.

Simply insert two AA batteries in the base (not included), remove the clear, protective safety cover, and slide the power switch to on. By gently moving the rotating roller (which spins 360° at a rate of 30 times per second) over the calloused or rough areas of skin on your soles and heels, your results are instantaneous.

in home pedicureI couldn't believe how easy this was! I had been preparing myself for a feeling similar to having sandpaper rubbed on my feet over and over, but instead found that the Micro-Pedi simply glides along and buffs away any dry, hardened areas without the slightest bit of pain or hassle.

And the results? Amazing! My feet haven't been so soft and smooth in a long time and it was completely effortless!

Cleaning the Emjoi Micro-Pedi is just as simple, as you only have to remove the roller and rinse the unit in water for a few seconds and then wipe it dry. No complicated parts or pieces and no worries about hygiene issues at the spa. For being as portable and convenient as this tool is, now I only need to find a way to get the polish applied as easily and I'll never have to have foot envy again!

Retailing for $39.95, more information about the Emjoi Micro-Pedi can be found on their website (replacement rollers can also be purchased there for $19.95 for a 2-pack). Beginning in September, the Emjoi Micro-Pedi will also be available in retail stores such as Sally Beauty, Ulta, and more. You can also keep up with the latest news and products from Emjoi on Twitter and Facebook.

(Other than the Emjoi Micro-Pedi that I was sent from Lipton Publicity, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this post in any way. This review is solely my opinion of this unique product.)
