Nutrisystem {Week 32}

Nutrisystem BloggersI'm tired.

And my feet still hurt.

Even though I thought I was prepared for how crazy BlogHer was going to be, it still managed to have some wild and craziness up its sleeve that I hadn't planned on. I'll be posting more about that soon, but for now, it's all about Nutrisystem.

I won't say that I stuck completely to the program, because even if I had an iron willpower (which I don't in the slightest), there were just too many appetizers and snacks and desserts at every turn. I mean, I had barely been in San Diego for an hour and I was at my first event on Coronado Island and was face-to-face with this:

A candy bar? Really? I'm supposed to avoid that?

All in all, however, it did feel pretty great to receive compliments from people that I haven't seen in ages and that made me even happier about all of the work that I've done to get this far. And if hearing it when I was wearing casual clothes wasn't good enough, there was the dress that I talked about last week.

That's right, the one that I nearly didn't try on because me? In a size 6? I think the last time that happened was... I don't know. Never?

Ignoring the fact that I look like a moron posing on the red carpet, this is one of my favorite pictures of me that I've seen so far from the trip. I was having a blast hanging out party-hopping with Liz (it's hard not to, she's truly that cool) and getting the chance to slip this dress on and feel good about myself in it was just the icing on the cake.

The fit, the print, everything seemed just right. Here it is a little closer...

I received quite a few compliments on it from a variety of people at different stops during the night, which only made me feel even happier than I went ahead and made the choice to pull it off the rack in the store in the first place. Now I just need an excuse to wear it again!

So even though I tried hard to remember everything I have learned from the Nutrisystem Nation, I know that picked up far too many extraneous calories over the past four days. Fortunately, the fact that I was running (both figuratively and literally) the whole time must have balanced things out because...

Nutrisystem NationPrevious loss: 25.0 lbs

This week: -0.0 lbs

Total loss: 25.0 lbs

Whew! Now that I'm home and can get back on track, I'm looking forward to seeing if I can get myself to the 30 pound milestone in the upcoming weeks because what an accomplishment that would be!
