Spring Cleaning with the Quickie Household Power Scrubber {Review}

Quickie logo
There are some aspects of life that are just so darn repetitive. I'll be standing in the shower or wiping off the kitchen counter and I'll think, Didn't I just do this exact thing yesterday? And the day before? And the day before that?

While some things will never change, at least I know that in terms of having to clean over and over again, the tasks can be made easier with the right cleaning tools. In the same way that you would never consider vacuuming your carpet with a vacuum that has no suction, there's no reason to break a sweat scrubbing your bathroom when you could be making life easier with the new Quickie Household Power Scrubber.

Quickie Power Scrubber

With spring cleaning in the air, it is time to begin powering through the tough stains of winter and, as we all know, cleaning the bathroom is pretty low on nearly everyone's list of Fun Things To Do. So, instead of pulling out old sponges and grungy rags, the launch of Quickie's Household Power Scrubber can rid your home of dirt and grime with ease.

No one wants to spend more time or effort scrubbing than they have to, so the investment in good quality tools can end up allowing you to spend more time enjoying the first signs of spring... and less time putting in elbow grease throughout your home.

As I'm always on the looking to save time and energy with "one and done" cleaning products, I was ready to see how convenient and reliable the Household Power Scrubber would prove to be.

Quickie Power Scrubber review

Right away I has happy with the compact, comfortable design of the Scrubber and the way that it easily fit in the palm of my hand. Even better, Quickie includes the necessary four AA batteries needed right in the package, so I didn't have to go search for any. After I popped them into place, it was time to scrub!

From the shower to the counter tops, it didn't take long to discover just how fast and easy it was to clean with the Quickie Household Power Scrubber.

The handheld design allows for easy maneuvering, even around the tightest corners, and being able to interchange the scrubbing pad with the bristle brush makes it possible to get nearly any surface sparkling clean — this product is safe on tile, grout, tubs, chrome and many more household surfaces!

As yet another bonus, the Scrubber's waterproof design allows for use with water or cleaning solutions, as well as makes it completely submersible. You're able to shine your sink or bathtub while it is full of water or grab this tool to scrub up the shower walls while you're in there getting yourself clean!

While I was initially concerned that the use of batteries in the Household Power Scrubber might mean that it would stop working throughout my bouts of cleaning, I found that wasn't the case. In fact, the long run time that this tool provides allows even the big jobs to be completed.

Plus, once the scrubbing pad has been used down to its end, simply remove it from the Velcro backing and replace it with a new one for next time.

What more could I ask for when the Scrubber is easy to use, provides great results and can last throughout my house? The fact that my kids think that it is just as cool as I do!

Considering that all you have to do is press a single button to turn this tool on and off, my 6-year-old and 4-year-old have had no problems taking turns scrubbing the sinks, counters, showers and more.

Quickie Household Power Scrubber review

The high-torque scrubbing and scouring action of the Household Power Scrubber combined with the fact that it is completely waterproof, extremely durable and very versatile has earned it a right to be found under every kitchen or bathroom sink.

Retailing for $19.96 from Walmart.com (with a 6-pack of Scourer Pad Refills selling for $6.97) more information about the Quickie Household Power Scrubber can be found on their Facebook page.

Other than the products that I was provided by Quickie in order to facilitate my review, I was not compensated or enticed to do this review in any way. This post is solely my honest opinion about this product.

This is a perfect tool for us who don't have the arm strength to scrub repeatedly, or in fact, don't want to. I like that it is fast yet powerful so that it gets the job done quickly. I also like it's compact size; no need to travel around with a long tube and huge hand tool.
