Celebrate the USA with the Play-Doh States of America {Play-Doh Box 'o Color Giveaway!}

Play-Doh logo
While you may have spent the 4th of July celebrating our nation by cheering at a parade or eating your weight in hot dogs at a BBQ, the Play-Doh brand showed off all that is great about our United States by debuting something patriotic, attractive and very, very cool.

Welcome to the Play-Doh States of America.

Play-Doh States of America

As part of an online poll that kicked off on Memorial Day, Play-Doh has been asking Facebook fans to vote on which icon best represents their state (i.e. a peach for Georgia, the Alamo for Texas). They received over 30,000 votes from fans wanting their favorite state icons to win!

What a fun way for residents to show off their state spirit by weighing in on the symbol to best represent them in a creative, colorful way!

Florida vote

While I would have been satisfied to see my home state shown off with any of the three options...

Wisconsin vote

...I was excited to hear that the winning icon for Wisconsin is the one and only badger! Being a University of Wisconsin - Madison alumni, this furry little creature will always have a special place in my heart.

And just look how cute he is made out of Play-Doh!

Wisconsin Badger

No matter which of our 50 great states you are from, you've got to head over to see all of the Play-Doh States of America to find out what icon has been chosen to represent your land and just how it looks made out of 100% Play-Doh.

Play-Doh states

From the original canister of a single color to the many, many creative accessories, tools, toys, playsets and more that are now available, Play-Doh is one name that has a place in all of our lives... and now, all of our states!

And, thanks to their generosity and in honor of the number of road trips that will surely be taken all summer long across our great country, one person will be ready for on-the-go Play-Doh fun, because...

One lucky person will win a Play-Doh Box 'o Color!

box 'o color

A big thank you to Hasbro for providing a Play-Doh Box 'o Color for one lucky giveaway winner. The opinions shared are my own and honest and if you really need to see more, click here to see how I roll.

I live in NC and the symbol I believe should represent my state is either the cardinal, a dogwood tree, or a lighthouse.
