Say Mmm Meal Planning {Review}

Dinnertime is growing near and, as usual, I'm stumped. With the way that life just seems to get busier and the days fly by even faster, it seems like meal-planning is a task that gets left by the wayside more and more often. Instead, we end up rotating through the same handful of standbys every week, which has grown old extremely fast.

I know that planning ahead would be the smart way to go about things... because if I just had the ideas, grocery list and recipe all in one place it would of make it much more likely that I would actually use them, right? Well, now that I've found Say Mmm, that's exactly what is possible!

Designed to let people manage all of their cooking and dining ideas in one place, Say Mmm helps parents save time and money with all of their smart planning features. Registration is free and gives you access to their popular meal planning, grocery shopping and recipe organizing options to start.

Then, for only $3 a month, you can also sign up for the Say Mmm Plus program and be able to do even more. Start tracking grocery prices, counting calories and store an unlimited number of recipes (you can store up to 100 in the free version), just to name a few.

So, how helpful is this? Very! You can easily plan your meals by day, week or month right on the online calendar and adding new ideas is done with barely a few clicks. Grocery lists are simplified and organized specifically for you and you can have them automatically generated from your meal plan to print off and bring to the store. Or, for tech-savvy parents, just pull your list up on your smart phone and check off items right on it while you shop.

When it's time to get cooking, your recipes are all stored and organized as well and can be accessed easily by category. You can even share recipes with friends in your own private network or, with the Grocery List for Blogs feature, bloggers can take an online recipe and make a shopping list for their readers! Too bad I can't cook, huh?

For a user-friendly, easy-to-navigate way for busy parents to get dinner to the table, Say Mmm can help get you organized and go "from Hmm to Mmm!" For more information, visit the Say Mmm website or keep up with them on Twitter and Facebook as well.

This post was made possible by Say Mmm; all opinions are 100% mine.

I love this! First of all, I need to get to some real food planning here (especially since my Farmer's market went out of season) and what a great tool this could be for me to share my plans with my blog followers!

I am going to sign up for the free service first (as this is crazy holiday month and I don't know how much new learning I can handle right now), but I think $3 per month might be worth spending in the future!

Thanks for sharing this great product!

I like the idea very much. Now who can I get to do the cooking once I organize what we'll be eating?

I'm with blue - can someone else do the cooking and the cleaning please?

Sounds neat though.

How are you, Xenia? Haven't talked in a while. Happy belated bday to your hubby.
