JumpSport iBounce Kids Trampoline {Review & Giveaway}

JumpSport logo{This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, J @ IHeart-Motherhood!}

From very early on, it has been easy to see the similarities and differences between my daughters. Whereas Big Sister E has always been the responsible, mature, nurturing one, Little Sister B is curious, adventurous, and sometimes downright fearless with her inexhaustible energy.

Trust me when I say there's an appropriate reason why I often call her Monkey.

So while I've been sure to focus on her cognitive development in the same way as her older sister, I've also especially kept an eye out for products that manage to combine physical activity and the building of motor skills with learning development. Why not let her burn some energy while expanding her mind, right?

And we both couldn't be more excited about being able to do just that with the creative, unique, entertaining iBounce Kids Trampoline from JumpSport.

iBounce Kids Trampoline
Founded in 1997 and well known for producing only the safest trampolines, trampoline safety nets, trampoline accessories and trampoline parts, JumpSport is clearly a leader in the world of trampolines. However, with the introduction of the iBounce Kids Trampoline, JumpSport has now found a way to combine a child's adoration of trampolines with their love of playing interactive games on an iPad or a tablet into one active adventure!

Feeling as though this was a product created specifically with Little Sister B in mind, I was nearly as excited as she was to get the pieces out of the box and assemble them to be ready for play.

iBounce Kids Trampoline assembly
I found that it took me an extra few minutes of getting each corner and the handle of the iBounce constructed due to assembling it on my own (having an extra set of hands to hold pieces steady would have helped), but it was still only around 20 minutes later that I had the trampoline securely put together and ready for jump, jump, jumping.

JumpSport iBounce Kids Trampoline review
You don't have to tell this girl twice — let the jumping begin!

JumpSport iBounce Kids Trampoline
Of course Big Sister E wasn't going to get left out of the action. The iBounce has an age recommendation of 2 - 5, so although she is at the high end of that range, the user weight limit is all the way up to 80 pounds so she was perfectly fine to jump away.

This trampoline is so bouncy and fun! The kids and I hadn't expected it to be able to provide as much spring as it does, so they were immediately laughing and grinning over just how high they were able to fly up in the air — which made me even more thankful for the well-placed rubber handles for them to hold onto for balance and the way that the edges of the trampoline are safely covered by the colorful green padding.

But as well as simply being a high-quality indoor trampoline, the iBounce Kids Trampoline from JumpSport provides an exercise adventure with the addition of the 12-minute animated Hop-Along with RompyRoo - Where Is Mr. Fuzzy? DVD that comes included.

RompyRoo, a charming kangaroo cartoon character, encourages kids to stay active and hop along with him to learn basic movement skills and counting concepts as they bounce through the woods, across lily pads, over logs and more. We popped the DVD into our DVD player and immediately Little Sister B was entranced by RompyRoo and his quest to find his lost teddy bear.

iBounce Kids Trampoline DVD
It didn't take her long at all before she was jumping when RompyRoo jumped, holding still when RompyRoo held still, and counting right along with him.

Along with using the DVD on your television, JumpSport made it possible for kids to take things one step further and play the story on an iPad, Kindle, Nook or other tablet by using the included tablet mount right on the handlebars of the trampoline.

It took me only a moment to secure the tablet mount into place and, even though I was hesitant for a minute that my iPad would be safe being so close to all that jumping, I was pleased to find that the adjustable holder locks solidly in place.

Then just bring up RompyRoo on your tablet (it did take me a little extra time to transfer the movie from the DVD through my computer to my iPad, but once it was recognized by iTunes, it was easy to sync it over) and your child can continue the fun right there.

iBounce Kids Trampoline tablet
Little Sister B and Big Sister E have loved the iBounce Kids Trampoline and have returned to bounce and play on it every day since its arrival. It is such a fun and engaging way to get in some exercise and work on coordination while incorporating the learning and skill-building that go along with RompyRoo.

Even better, I love knowing that this trampoline is completely safe due to JumpSport's 15 years of experience and the way that they have always made safety a top priority of their products. The iBounce's bungee cords provide enough bounce to keep kids jumping, while not having the worry that goes along with the metal springs in trampolines from my youth.

On top of that, the double handle bars are easy to hold and provide stability and safety so that this trampoline can provide years of entertainment and learning without me worrying about anyone accidentally bouncing off! Instead, see for yourself just how much fun we've been having around here with the iBounce...

From the classic fun of a mini-trampoline to the entertainment of the RompyRoo DVD (JumpSport even has plans to release a new bounce-along title every few months to keep the exercise fresh for kids) to the universal tablet mount for interactive enjoyment, the iBounce Kids Trampoline is an investment that is sure to be a hit.

Retailing for $129.95 directly from JumpSport (also available on Amazon), this trampoline is sure to bring enjoyment to preschoolers everywhere. And, thanks to the generosity of this great company, one person will be able to see the happiness in person, because...
