Around here we keep things pretty simple (I'd like to blame that on the kids, but my husband and I are fairly picky as well), but if you had asked me last week to name my first choice in pizzas, I probably would have shrugged and mentioned one that seems to have become our standby.
However, that has all since changed.
Now, without a moment's hesitation, I can tell you that the next time I order a pizza, it will be my hands down favorite: Domino's Handmade Pan Pizza.
Founded in 1960, Domino's Pizza is the recognized world leader in pizza delivery and has recently debuted its biggest product launch since reinventing its hand-tossed pizza nearly three years ago. Knowing that one out of every five pizzas sold in the U.S. is a pan pizza, Domino's acknowledged that they have not been a strong contender in the pan pizza category... until now.
After three years of development, their brand new Handmade Pan Pizza features fresh dough hand-stretched into the pan. Unlike many other pan products out there that are frozen, Domino's fresh alternative results in a crispy golden crust with a great buttery taste.
And let me tell you, if you are thinking that handmade, fresh, never-frozen dough probably doesn't make all that much of a difference, then ohhhhhh, you haven't tasted Domino's Handmade Pan Pizza yet. We barely had taken the time to read all of the pertinent info that Domino's had included on the box...
...before diving right in. The delicious aroma, the sight of the melted cheese (two layers of cheese!) and toppings all the way to the edge... I mentioned ohhhhhh, right? Add a big mmmmmmmm to that as well!
|Yes, we like pizza with just pineapple on it. Don't knock it until you've tried it!|
For me, it was love at first bite.
There was enough cheese without it being overloaded and chewy, the sweet pineapple went all the way to the edges so that no bite was left without, and the crust. That amazing fresh dough that Domino's worked so hard to perfect... it's definitely the flaky, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth pièce de résistance.
I paused long enough between bites to email a friend to tell her to ORDER THIS PIZZA RIGHT NOW and then went back to marveling at the delectable flavors.
And I wasn't the only one smitten with this pizza, as both of my kids and my husband commented on how much they liked it as well as we all reached for another slice.
Domino's Handmade Pan Pizza even passed the leftovers test with flying colors, as it reheated evenly and was still as flaky and buttery as it was when it arrived fresh from the oven.
My husband even complained that I didn't leave him any — but there was no way that I could just leave that pizza sitting there in the fridge when my mouth watered every time I thought of it being there!
|Reheated and still utterly delicious!|
I don't see how it will be possible to order any other pizza in the future, as now that I've tried this one, what else can compare? Tasting is believing, so try it for yourself today!
Domino's is so sure that you're going to love their new pizzas, that they are currently running a campaign offering medium two-topping Handmade Pan Pizzas for $7.99 each. Now is the time to do a taste test and see how it stacks up versus the pan pizza competition (hint: the answer is YUM)!
If you need an additional incentive to pick up the phone, go online or use your mobile device to order from Domino's today, their Parmesan Bread Bites are oven baked, bite-size bits of Pamesan, Asiago and garlic breadstick goodness!
While Domino's is certainly not a stranger to the world of pizza, there is no doubt that they have made a grand entrance into the pan pizza realm. But don't just take my word for it, give these Handmade Pan Pizzas a try and you'll see why I'm such a fan!
Thanks to the generosity of Domino's, one person will be able to do just that and treat their taste buds to the best new pizza around, because...
