KIDZ BOP Christmas 2012 {Review}

While I'm never a fan of seeing holiday decorations appear in stores before Halloween (or the start of school, for that matter), I do have to admit that when I start to hear Christmas tunes over the loudspeaker, they do make me begin to tap my toes. It's just hard to not get into the spirit when you're grooving to songs about Santa, mistletoe, Rudolph, presents and more!

Therefore, combining that with the knowledge that all of the words and songs are appropriate for kids of all ages, and we must be listening to KIDZ BOP Christmas 2012!

KIDS BOP Christmas CD

Spending the last 10+ years delivering safe and entertaining music for kids, KIDZ BOP CDs are known for being a compilation of "today's biggest hits sung by kids for kids."

By taking the popular songs of the year, removing the suggestive lyrics and having them performed by kids, it's no wonder that parents as well as children can appreciate these CDs — which is why millions and millions of them have been sold to date!

Taking that winning formula and applying it to the holidays, KIDZ BOP Christmas takes the fairly traditional and turns them into a modern, jazzy, electronic version for the whole family to enjoy. While these might not be the exact classics that you're used to, they're still a fun, kid-friendly way to listen to a compilation that will surely bring a smile.

The songs included are:
  1. All I Want For Christmas Is You
  2. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town
  3. Up On The Housetop
  4. Winter Wonderland
  5. Must Be Santa
  6. Silver Bells
  7. Mistletoe And Holly
  8. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
  9. Christmas Wrapping
  10. I Saw Three Ships
  11. The 12 Days Of Christmas
  12. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
  13. Jingle Bell Rock
  14. Go Christmas
  15. Auld Lang Syne
KIDZ BOP singers

My kids have had a great time singing and dancing along to KIDZ BOP Christmas and it has been such a fun way to have the whole family moving and grooving and enjoying just how catchy these songs are. Because they are kid-friendly, I don't ever have to worry about any questionable lyrics and instead can just sit back and enjoy the familiar tunes in a suitable way for young listeners!

More information about KIDZ BOP Christmas 2012 can be found on the KIDZ BOP website, and it can be purchased directly from the KIDZ BOP SHOP for $13.98, on iTunes for $7.99 or on Amazon for $9.99. Whether you're planning a holiday party or just want to get into the holiday spirit at home or in the car, this collection of tunes is a fun and unique addition to any music library!

(Other than the  copy of KIDZ BOP Christmas that I was sent to facilitate my review, I was not provided with anything or enticed to do this review in any way. This post is solely my honest opinion of this product.)

I remember this, they came out about the same time my oldest was born. It is nice for the kids to hear the songs performed by! I know that music isn't their favorite subject in school but they sing along in the car when we put on their music. It encourages them to participate.

Well now that Christmas has past, I will have to get this later this year when I need to get into the Christmas spirit.
