Checking Our List #30: Kolcraft Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Stroller {Review & Giveaway}

{This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, Danielle!}

Oftentimes family and friends ask just how much Little Sister B tries to act like her older sister. It makes sense that she would look up to and emulate her, right? And she does, she really does. Even though sometimes I wish she wouldn't copy quite everything, Little Sister B really does get joy out of acting like she's a big girl, too.

But, the interesting part of the equation is that it also works the other way around. If Little Sister B is playing with a toy meant for a baby, suddenly Big Sister E must have it. If Little Sister B gets picked up and carried, it's like magic that Big Sister E's legs are instantly tired as well.

So, when it comes to traveling or heading to a location where a stroller is needed for Little Sister B... well, there sure had better be a place for Big Sister E to sit, too. I don't need something extremely large or bulky though, I'm to the point where the features that matter most are durability, light weight and easy maneuverability.

Fortunately, that's exactly what I found in the Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Stroller from Kolcraft.

Available in three great color options, this Jeep Wrangler is an ideal comfortable and convenient umbrella stroller built for two. Weighing a total of 22.75 pounds and folding up easily and compactly, fitting this stroller into a backseat, trunk or through airport security is not going to be a problem.

Arriving in one very long box, I pulled the various parts out and found that, aside from popping on the wheels, this stroller was nearly fully assembled for me already.

Flipping open the instruction booklet, it clearly showed how to easily snap the front wheels right on and to slide the axles through the back wheels and secure them with a pin.

All that was left was popping on the parent cup holder (top rack dishwasher safe!) and aligning the double canopy in the middle and outsides of the stroller frame. In a matter of minutes, I had the entire thing put together and could answer the "Is it ready yet?" and "Can we sit in it, NOW?" questions with a yes.

As this was the first time they've sat in a side-by-side stroller, the novelty of being next to each other was pretty exciting

Right away I liked that each seat in this Jeep Wrangler Twin reclines independently, so there is never any worry if one child wants to take a nap and the other does not. By easily unhooking one or the other or both, the passengers are able to lie back and relax in comfort.
When I finally got the girls out of the stroller, I was able to admire the feature that it is most known for (and the reason for the All-Weather part of its name), the cool-climate roll-up seat backs.

By simply pulling the 3-point harness out of the padded backing, it simply rolls right up and attaches with Velcro. The exposed mesh is then great for increased air circulation and keeping kids from getting hot and sweaty in warm conditions, while the padding creates a nice little pillow for extra comfort.

In terms of storage, the Jeep Wrangler Twin doesn't have a basket underneath or on the back, but instead comes with two cute removable cargo bags that are located on either side. Although they don't provide a ton of extra space, I have found these bags are plenty large enough for some snacks or a cup and I love the fact that the girls have access to them on their own just by reaching down while riding.

And, when out for a ride, I couldn't be happier with the soft, padded handles and how easy it is to push this stroller around. With a total weight limit of 70 pounds, Big Sister E and Little Sister B are getting close to that but I still found that I haven't had any issues steering or maneuvering around.

Even though this is a side-by-side stroller, going through doorways hasn't been an issue and the all-terrain wheels really have kept things smooth no matter what type of ground we've been on. And when it comes time to fold this up, the Jeep Wrangler Twin has one clearly-marked lever indicating to push it to the side and then up, causing the entire stroller to fold in and down.

With an easy locking mechanism, there is no worry about this stroller falling open and it is ready for storage or to be placed through an x-ray machine.

For a stroller that is comfortable for two children and convenient for adults, the Jeep Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather fits the bill as a go-anywhere, inexpensive double stroller. With a retail price of $119.99 (although found online for less), this includes a quick umbrella-fold and 2-position reclining padded seats and is lightweight and easy to wipe clean.

It does have the two individual sun canopies to provide comfort as well, however, they are a little on the small side. They are adjustable though and even if the child is provided with shade on their face but nowhere else, I have found they still manage to keep enough sun away. Big Sister E and Little Sister B also have a great time playing with them!

All in all, for parents looking for a stroller that can be pulled out just about anywhere and will make both kids and adults happy, this one is perfect for that. This holiday season, give the gift of comfort to a child or convenience to a parent! And, thanks to the generosity of Kolcraft, one person will get to give that gift, because...
