When it comes time for me to look for just the right gifts for the holidays, finding items for my own children is one thing - after all, I know exactly what they like and what they don't. But when it comes to other kids, I get a little lost. Trains, trucks, dolls, crafts, books... there are just so many choices that how do I know where to look?
As I know my 4-year-old nephew is a big fan of building and constructing, something from that category is always a great idea, but even those start to seem a little boring sometimes. Blocks are fun and all, but even I have to admit that after a while a block is a block.
This year, though, I have the answer. The newest and most unique way to give a customized, imaginative and entertaining construction toy is here with Superstructs.

I thought Superstructs sounded like a lot of fun on their own,

Preparing myself that selecting from the 24,000+ possible combinations that were going to go into my nephew's kit might take a while, I couldn't believe how quickly I was able to put his entire gift together. First, I was presented with the model options and was given the ability to choose up to three models to include depending on personality and taste.

After I finally decided on which three would hopefully be my nephew's favorites, I simply dragged and dropped them right onto the order form.

With the choice of 22 total templates for Birthdays, Congratulations and Holidays, I enjoyed being able to enter in my nephew's name, select a design and see a full preview of exactly what the finished kit would look like. It was great as well that Superstructs gives you a reminder of which sets you have chosen and your total price, giving you the opportunity at any point to return to previous steps and make any alterations.

When my nephew's Superstructs arrived, I couldn't wait to see how great they looked in person. As I included three sets in my Custom Kit, they were split between two separate boxes, both brightly colored and emblazoned with the template I had chosen and his name prominently displayed.

Do you have a little builder in your life that would love to try these out? Head over to Superstructs and enter the coupon code KQPPB5PB until January 31 for 40% off of one of the company's best-selling kits, the BIG Builder, a 126-piece set for ages 4 - 11, normally $41.95. Or, thanks to the generosity of Superstructs, one person will be able to design their own custom kit with up to three sets as well, because...
