Nutrisystem {Weeks 36 & 37}

Nutrisystem Bloggers After how happy I was two weeks ago to see a decent weight loss, the following weeks started off with my determination to follow the Nutrisystem program precisely running high.

And then Labor Day arrived along with the kids and I making Zucchini Chocolate Chip Muffins not once, but twice.

I'm not sure what it is about them, but these muffins seem to have an addictive property to them that I find hard to resist. Why is it that we had Zucchini Brownies sitting around I could keep myself from snacking on them, but I find myself reaching into the container of muffins telling myself that one more couldn't hurt?

However, when it did come to focusing on the Nutrisystem Nation, I found myself again looking at the Recipe Center to see how I could make things a little more interesting after all this time. With so many things that I want to try, it worked out well that it was time for me to place another food order so that I could be sure to have the necessary Nutrisystem items on hand.

For instance, it has been 37 weeks and I have never once tried the Lowfat Granola Cereal, but now I can't wait for it to arrive so that I can mix it with yogurt and fruit to make the Granola Breakfast...

granola breakfast...or with a few more tasty ingredients for a yummy Breakfast Smoothie.

breakfast smoothie recipeIngredients

1 pkg. Nutrisystem Lowfat Granola Cereal
8 oz. strawberry low-fat yogurt
4 oz. skim milk
1 tsp. peanut butter
1 small banana, sliced

Directions

1. Place yogurt, peanut butter, banana, and half of the Nutrisystem Lowfat Granola Cereal in a blender. Add milk to blend.

2. Pour blended smoothie into cup/glass. Top with remaining granola and some fruit if desired.

Does it get much easier than that? All I have to do now is keep an eye out for my shipment of food and I'll be set to go!

Until then, I'm looking back at the past two weeks and...

Nutrisystem NationPrevious loss: 25.2 lbs

This week: 0.0 lbs

Total loss: 25.2 lbs

Even though I'd love to see the numbers still moving down, I am always happy when the scale at least doesn't show a gain. With my time on Nutrisystem beginning to move into the final stages, I'll just keep hoping for the best... and for that darn 30 lb goal to not be so out of reach!

When are you finished with the program? When you hit your goal?

A standstill this week is still a good thing, because didn't you lose 2 or 3 last week?

You didn't lose or gain and staying the same always made me happy. You will make it to that 30 lb mark you will. You look amazing girl you should be proud!

I know you can make that 30 lb. goal happen! You've done so well this far. You can totally keep it going. And you're right...no gain is still a great thing!

I loved the Lowfat Granola Cereal! How is it that you have gone 37 weeks without trying it? ;-) It was one of my favorites.

Keep it up! You have been doing so well, and I know you will hit that 30 pound goal!
