Healthy Eating Made Easy with Diet-to-Go {Review & Coupon Code} #diettogo

If you've visited this blog pretty much anytime, you've probably noticed that I've tried a variety of weight loss and exercise regimes in the past few years. There just always seems to be an extra 10 pounds hanging around that appear, disappear, reappear, and repeat.

And, after going through such a variety of programs and diets, I've finally learned the most important thing to remember about losing weight. Ready? Here it is: it's really freaking hard.

What the heck, right? How is it that gaining weight can happen in the blink of an eye, but just losing a few pounds can be so incredibly tiring and frustrating?

What makes things even more difficult is the fact that life and motherhood are two handicaps to weight loss that are impossible to ignore. As we're all constantly on the go with our kids, work, school, appointments, sports, events, volunteering and more, the struggle to fit healthy, portion-controlled meals into our days seems to be continually out of reach.

Therefore, when I'm introduced to a company that claims to make "Healthy Eating Made Easy," I'm immediately curious. Could it be that simple? Without sacrificing taste? It was time to put Diet-to-Go to the test!

With three unique menus (low-fat, vegetarian and low-carb), 20 plans to choose from and hundreds of healthy and delicious meals, Diet-to-Go is the most inexpensive fresh diet delivery service on the market. That's right, fresh. They only deliver fresh meals, as opposed to the typical boxed, pre-cooked, dried, doesn't-really-taste-like-real-food, who-knows-how-long-this-has-been-stored options from other companies.

After having tried other types of pre-made meals in the past, I found that they were indeed convenient... but seemed to always be missing something. Partly it was the fresh flavor of real food and partly it was the way that they claimed to be a "meal," yet you still needed to shop, purchase and prepare additions to them.

Instead, everything you need is included right in the handy packets from Diet-to-Go. As each one comes labeled with the meal, ingredients and any heating instructions, you never have to worry about shopping, recipes, prep time, clean-up – instead it's like having your own personal chef!

Diet-to-Go review

While I was impressed with the way that Diet-to-Go focused on making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle and meet weight loss goals without adding any extra work, I also knew it would all come down to taste. After all, who is going to stick to a diet plan for very long if they dread eating it? Tomato Veggie Pie? Really?

Fortunately, my skepticism quickly dissipated, as these meals are delicious! The first morning's breakfast consisted of blueberry pancakes and soy sausage and, let me tell you, I could eat these pancakes every single day if I could. They were amazing!

Diet-to-Go breakfast

As I was taking part in the vegetarian meal plan (and love that this is even an option that Diet-to-Go offers!), other breakfasts included french toast, omelets, and fruit, while lunch and dinner options included vegetable quesadillas, veggie burritos, penne pasta and stuffed shells.

I really loved the variety of meals that I was able to try, as it's easy to keep from getting bored when you have a refrigerator filled with so many options to satisfy your taste buds. And, just as Diet-to-Go had claimed, following their plan was beyond simple, as I only had to remove a single package, open it up and stick it in the microwave for a few seconds.

Although there were times that I eyed things like the Tuscan Bean Salad with Parmesan Cheese and Garlic Bread stick warily, I found myself nearly licking my plate clean... and feeling stuffed! I'm definitely a fan of diet plans that don't leave you feeling hungry after you've eaten!

Diet-to-Go lunch

Although I'm sure there are folks out there that love the act of cooking and would miss it if they began eating Diet-to-Go, I'm not one of them.

Whether it was being able to drop my kids off at school and then return home knowing that I would have a full, nutritious, tasty breakfast waiting for me, or to not have to deal with the hassle of cooking something healthy for lunch, having these delicious meals on hand was a welcome addition to my life.

Jan: Wow, this seems easy but I'd have to see the types of foods they have as I have allergies and can't eat certain foods because of medication I take (example, no grapefruit or grapefruit juice) Thanks for the review tho, I'll look into it :)

I have been wanting to loose weight for sometime but it seems like the diets where you buy the food cost way to much
