Wrap-A-Nap {Review & Giveaway}

{This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, Mburger718!}

My husband is one of those people who can close their eyes at any point during the day in pretty much any location and be asleep within a matter of minutes. I actually have a picture of him at all of our holidays and family events from 2010... sleeping.

Yes, every single get-together. And yes, sound asleep on the couch or in a chair or on the floor.

I act like I'm annoyed by it (which I am), but really, I'm probably a little jealous at the same time. I get woken up by the slightest sound or tiny ray of light that shines in and then can't fall back asleep. On mornings that my husband is getting up with the kids (we take turns), he knows that he has to try to keep them as quiet as possible... which he does, but even that often doesn't work.

I just want it to be dark and quiet ALL the time when I'm sleeping - is that too much to ask? Well, according to the inventor of the most unique blindfold/pillow/earmuff around, the Wrap-A-Nap, that's exactly what is possible for all of us at any time in any location.

A cross between a plush, fuzzy blindfold, a soft, downy pillow and a sound-muffling ear cover, the Wrap-A-Nap is the answer to complete darkness, quieter surroundings and all around comfort no matter where you are. Taking a quick snooze over lunch break? Pull out your Wrap-A-Nap. Work the night shift (or stay up all hours with a newborn) and need to find a way to get shut-eye during daylight hours? Try the Wrap-A-Nap. Have a spouse that keeps you up by snoring? Well, you get the picture.

When two Wrap-A-Naps arrived at our house, I couldn't wait to pull them out to see this uncomplicated yet innovative invention in person.

Soft, squishy and cozy right out of the box, I marveled at what a straightforward concept these truly are. Simply wrap the long pillow around your head (tight enough so that it stays in place yet not too tight so that you feel pressure on your eyes) and attach with the Velcro closure. Fast, easy and adjustable to just about any size head - all that is left to do is nap!

On my next morning to sleep in, I hopped into bed with my Wrap-A-Nap and couldn't wait to give it a try. Placing it around my head so that it covered my eyes and ears, I attached it closed and... darkness. And quiet. It was peaceful and silent and I laid my head down and happily went to sleep.

The next morning, instead of being woken up by the bright light coming in the windows or the sound of the kids requesting more cereal, I stayed sound asleep until my husband came to wake me. It was bliss!

I've tried it many more times since then and, aside from not putting the Wrap-A-Nap on tight enough once or twice (causing me to wake up with it lying next to me instead of on my head), it has worked wonders every time. I'm always so surprised when I pull it off to find out how light it is in the room compared to the darkness that I had been enjoying.

And really, I'm not the only one who thinks that the Wrap-A-Nap is just such a fun idea.
The Wrap-A-Nap has already far surpassed any other sleep mask that I have used in the past because of its minky softness and, as I could never find a way to use earplugs comfortably, the way that this muffles the sound is a huge bonus. On top of those great features, there is the fact that the Wrap-A-Nap has a built-in pillow, meaning that it can be used anywhere. It will definitely be coming along on my next airplane ride!

Available in four different colors for $14.99, the Wrap-A-Nap isn't your average, run-of-the-mill purchase. You won't find anything like this in the store, but you or your lucky recipient will thank you for it! And, due to the generosity of Wrap-A-Nap, one person will get to experience the quiet darkness of sleep at home, work, while traveling or more, because...

One lucky person will win a Wrap-A-Nap of their own!
