Cardi Wrap by Kymaro {Review}

In the same way that I feel like I'm not one of those people that can look at a room and just know what color to paint it or what accessories will make the best decor, I'm not particularly adept at making new and interesting fashion choices. What can I say?

I blame it on being a mom, really. I mean, it doesn't make sense to go out and spend the money on all different types of clothing to fill my wardrobe when I'm going to end up in jeans and a t-shirt anyway, right? Besides, who's to say that I'm going to be happy with that sweater or blouse three months from now and it won't be yet another item that I've purchased and then later found fault with?

Instead, thanks to the popular infomercial name, Kymaro, there is a way to make a single purchase and end up with a fashionable, versatile, comfortable and practical piece for nearly any occasion: the Cardi Wrap.

Whether your outfit requires the practicality of a cardigan, the elegance of a wrap or the casualness of a shawl, the Cardi Wrap by Kymaro is one piece of fashionable apparel that will work for nearly any body type. This single multifunctional wrap can be twisted, wrapped, tucked or knotted to create nearly 60 different figure-flattering styles - just choose the ones that work best for you!

After hearing how easy it is to drape the Cardi Wrap in ways that it would accentuate my best features while hiding my imperfections, well, why in the world wouldn't I want to try it? Available in two sizes (Misses for 0-12 and Plus for 14+) and seven different colors, when the Misses Grey Cardi Wrap arrived, at first glance it resembled... not much.

Unfolding the 100% Viscose, I could see the slight sheen that the fabric had as well as just how soft and comfortable it was going to be when worn. At first I couldn't tell what was what with the long, stretchable material, but after laying the Cardi Wrap out, I saw it begin to take shape.

Although it was now easy to see how the Cardi Wrap could be worn open and loose, there is an included Style Book that gives text and photo descriptions for 56 other style ideas to try. 56!

Unlike some apparel that women might not want to wear due to arm flab or the muffin top, the Cardi Wrap is so versatile that all you have to do is find which ways flatter your body type and you're all set.

I have to admit that I had more trouble attempting some of the twists and tucks and knots than others, but it almost makes it like playing dress up every time I put this on. No matter if I'm pairing the Cardi Wrap with a dress or skirt for a night out or I'm throwing it on with a pair of jeans to go to the store, the options truly are limitless.

Many of the Before and After photos on the Cardi Wrap website really do show off how versatile this item is and just what a difference it can make to your finished look. Although I'm still getting used to trying out all of the various styles (it takes a long time to try 56 different ones!) I've already seen just how much your outfit can be changed.

Worn alone or accessorized with the Cardi Wrap Accessory Kit (gold, silver and black bangles and flower and bow color-coordinated pins), I'm having a hard time coming up with instances that the Cardi Wrap couldn't be used.

Use it to go to the office and then change its style for a night out on the town, pull it on to provide a comfy extra layer in winter, get a little more coverage with it on over a summer dress, stay stylish and comfortable while traveling (not to mention saving room in your suitcase), dress up your growing pregnancy bump...

Lightweight and machine washable, The Cardi Wrap is available in blue, black, red, gray, pink, purple and tan and retails for $39.95 plus $9.95 shipping and handling. The Accessory Kit is free, however, you do have to pay an additional $9.95 processing and handling fee to receive it.

If you are looking for something unique, soft, flattering and more versatile than any other item in your closet, the Cardi Wrap by Kymaro might just be the scarf/shawl/wrap/cardigan that you need!

It looks really cute on you, by the way.

Oh, and that model from the website? Is it just me or do some of her poses look awkward? lol
