Nutrisystem {Week 22} Spa Style

Nutrisystem BloggersHappy Memorial Day! While so many families are getting together for picnics and barbecues today, my husband and I are extremely fortunate that my in-laws are coming over and staying with the kids while we hop in the car and drive about an hour away to stay here:

The exact location doesn't particularly matter, but what does is that it's an Inn & Spa and it's lovely. If I want to go hang out in the pool and not be splashed or give someone a noodle to play with, then I can do just that.

When I'm done with that, I can head to the spa and really relax with something like this:

Except, what? That doesn't even look all that relaxing to me. What is that? And why is it dripping on her head? Wouldn't that just be annoying?

So no, I'll skip that one. Instead, I can actually just head to my own room and hang out doing something much more my style like this:

No having to add more bubbles or referee over who's turn it is with the Elmo tub toys, just... ahhh.

In the morning the plan is for me to sleep in and wake up whenever I'm done sleeping. Not from the sound of someone small demanding breakfast or too much light streaming in my windows (due to the lack of curtains, of course), but just whenever I'm ready.

Pure bliss.

So where does Nutrisystem fit into all of this? Well, it doesn't. This is going to be yet another week where I'm tested as to how much I've learned and what kind of choices I make when we go out to dinner or get up and find a fresh buffet breakfast awaiting us.

If you had asked me last week if I thought I would have problems, I would have said no. After returning from Reviewer's Retreat and managing to have not gained weight, I was considering myself an A+ Nutrisystem student.

This past week started off well, but somewhere around mid-week or so I seemed to fall off of the wagon a bit and I found myself eating things I shouldn't or snacking on things that weren't all that healthy. The weekend was even worse as we went out to eat twice and the second time I left with the Oh, I feel sick from eating too much feeling that I used to have quite often before joining the Nutrisystem Nation.

These things happen, I suppose. I'm extremely excited about getting away for the day to spend some relaxing time with my husband, so I'm going to just have to trust that giving my mind a rest will also lead to making better decisions this week with what I eat.

Hoping that the scale wouldn't give me something to dwell on during my mini-vacation, this morning I found...

Nutrisystem NationPrevious loss: 22.0 lbs

This week: -0 lbs

Total loss: 22.0 lbs

Definitely not a surprise there and, in fact, I should be pretty darn thrilled that the scale didn't show that I gained weight. Hopefully next week the numbers will go back to getting smaller! But for now, I've got relaxing to do. Have a great day with your family!

That is great that you didn't gain any weight!

The spa looks awesome, except that one picture looks like water torture.

Have fun!

Enjoy your time with hubs at the spa. I could sure use a trip away for the day. You didn't gain so that is always good.

And yes, a zero loss is better than a gain. ;-) You are still doing great!
