I've said it before and I'll say it again: the holidays call for chocolate.
No, wait. That isn't strong enough. The holidays need chocolate.
Hmm, still not quite. The holiday require chocolate.
There we go, that sounds better.
I'm talking gifts for teachers, mail carriers, newspaper delivery people, bus drivers and more. But not cheap, been-in-a-box-since-Valentine's-Day chocolate, because who wants that? I'm talking about turning to names like Lindt that know how to make chocolate smooth, rich and delicious... particularly in the form of their amazing Lindor truffles.
Mmmmmmm. Lindor truffles are the ultimate smooth melting premium chocolate masterpiece. Crafted by the Lindt Master Chocolatiers using a secret recipe and the finest ingredients, the delicious Lindt chocolate shell enrobes a delectably yummy filling. Biting into one of these results in a burst of luscious chocolate melting in your mouth to which others just can't compare.
Available in a variety of exquisite flavors – including a few limited edition seasonal flavors – that will delight the palate and lavish the senses, there are Lindor truffles that are sure to please every taste preference.
And when Lindt sent over their Milk Chocolate along with their holiday Snowman and Dark Peppermint flavors, it was all that I could do to not rip each colorful bag open immediately.
In full disclosure, if you look closely at the top of the red Milk Chocolate bag you'll see that it actually is already opened. I couldn't help it!
Lindor Milk Chocolate truffles feature a milk chocolate shell with a smooth melting milk chocolate center and for me, nothing beats this absolute classic. Available year round, I'm pretty sure these work as a gift for just about any occasion. Retiring? Here are some Milk Chocolate truffles! Hey, enjoy your new baby with some Milk Chocolate truffles! Happy Flag Day! Celebrate with Milk Chocolate truffles. You get the point.
In fact, Lindt polled more than 1,000 Americans, ages 18 and older, to uncover information on trends in flavors during the holiday season. One of those findings? That nearly two out of every three Americans (62%) desire milk chocolate most when indulging in chocolate. You just can't go wrong!
The Limited Edition Dark Peppermint are available during the holiday season only, so if you are a fan of a dark chocolate shell with a smooth peppermint center, these are for you. Personally I'm not a mint-and-chocolate type of person, but I know that it's a popular combination for quite a few people.
Lindt's survey showed that nearly half of Americans chose peppermint (46%) as one of their favorite holiday flavors, so there's a good possibility that someone on your list would be a fan!
I like the cute wrapper on the Limited Edition Snowman truffles just as much as the flavor of the milk chocolate shell with a smooth white chocolate center. Also available for the holiday season only, biting in to one of these and finding the white in the middle is fun and different while still being incredibly tasty.
This holiday season it's all about chocolate. Two out of three women say they would give chocolate to their friends (67%) and family (62%) during the holidays and more than half (52%) of women say they would give chocolate as a hostess gift during the holiday season.
As for me? My daughters' preschool teachers each received a gift that was in a bag that had these festive truffles all around it. I also went out and bought more bags of Lindor truffles so that Big Sister E's bus drivers would each receive a bag as well as our mail carrier. Because who would I be if I didn't say Thanks, Mail Carrier this holiday season?
Available online or in stores near you, be sure to pick up a bag of delicious Lindor truffles this holiday season for your next gift or occasion (the 7.2-ounce bags retail for only $4.99). Whether you add a bow and give them as a gift or peel open the top and enjoy a sweet indulgence for yourself amidst this hectic time of year, no one knows chocolate like Lindt!
And, thanks to their generosity, one person will be prepared for a post-holiday delicious treat as well, because...
