Improve Your Workout with Jockey and Purex Crystals {Review & Giveaway}

This probably won't come as a big surprise, but I found out recently that 12% of all gym memberships are started in January. So it looks like not only do the majority of people make New Year's resolutions to lose weight, but quite a few put their money where their mouth is and want a place to jump start their goal to get in shape.

But when it comes to following through on our aspirations to get healthy, exercise means more than just signing our names on the line, it means getting geared up and putting in the sweat of a good workout.

And no one knows better about creating high quality, comfortable products and those that help keep them clean and performing well than the powerhouse team of Jockey and Purex.

The combination of the Jockey Tech Terry Sports Bra and a bottle of Purex Crystals Tropical Splash Fabric Softener is a great way to get started with workout apparel that is breathable, supportive and convenient. Although normally fabric softener is not recommended on performance sportswear (because the oil content prevents the wicking process), Purex Crystals is a perfect pairing.

As I can always use another reason to get to the gym, when a package from Jockey and Purex arrived, I was interested in trying out both of these innovative products.

Created out of a 93% polyester/7% spandex mix, the Tech Terry Sports Bra contains all of the features that a woman needs for a comfortable fit. The moisture-wicking and breathable mesh panels keep you cool and dry when your workouts are heating up and the soft bottom band doesn't feel binding or tight.

Although I haven't found the need for it yet, this sports bra also contains a convenient key pocket in the middle front so that you can tuck your key in place if you're heading out for a run. What a unique idea!

Of course being able to machine wash and dry athletic gear is a must, so hearing that Purex Crystals has a formula that will not impact the quality and performance of this sports bra was great. Plus, with the way that these crystals go in at the start of the wash (therefore spending more time with the laundry) and infuse clothes with long-lasting freshness, now I never have to worry about the possibility of any lingering odors that I'd rather not sniff.

This is one fabric softener that really couldn't be much easier... or safer. Instead of traditional liquid versions that leave oil that can interfere with the absorbency of your towels, reduce the effectiveness of your sportswear, or impair the ability of children's sleepwear to meet certain flame-retardant standards, these 92% natural crystals are simple, easy and can be used on your entire family's clothes.

The result of this bottle of Tropical Splash has been soft laundry and a fresh, sweet scent that we can't help but enjoy. I'm ready to workout and my kids are happy that anything from their shirt to their socks smells like a little taste of the tropics.
