Smartdogs Uplift Women's Synergy Comfort Slippers by Grandoe {Review}

Sometimes I'm not convinced that my feet aren't the control center for the rest of my body.

If my feet are tired and sore, my whole body aches. If it's winter and I'm fully covered in blankets but one foot is sticking out? I'm cold. Likewise, in the summer, I can have the rest of my body covered but need to have my feet out or else I'm boiling hot.

Therefore, it's no wonder that I'm particular about my footwear. As well as needing comfortable shoes when I'm out running errands, I've found that it's important that I have some sort of cushion under my feet while I'm inside on our hardwood floor as well. Whether I'm playing with the kids or standing doing dishes, I hate feeling the soreness start to creep in!

In the winter I wear regular full slippers, which double to keep me warm while providing softness. But in the summer? Up until recently, I had no options. And then Smartdogs Comfort Slippers by Grandoe introduced their Synergy line of antibacterial slippers and all was right in the world.

Inspired by a holistic approach to living, Synergy comfort footwear combines flexibility, support and durability into a unique product that is part slipper, part shoe. How could I go wrong with something that was plush, comfortable and could be used indoors as well as out?

Smartdog slippers review

As I looked over the Uplift Synergy Thong Slipper, I was struck by how much I was impressed with each of the details that had gone into them. The fabrics were strong and durable, the padding was thick and soft, and the simple design was unique and attractive. Could these provide as much comfort as they appeared?

Smartdog Synergy slippers review

Absolutely.

These have quickly become my must-have footwear and I love sliding them on from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep. The thong design includes an extra strap across the top of my foot, ensuring a good fit, and the mesh underneath is breathable and cool. I never have to worry about these poking me anywhere or making my feet feel too hot or sweaty in the summer heat!

Underneath the mesh, the Uplift Synergy Thong feature an exclusive patented antibacterial four zone honeycomb foot bed that really does give my feet support with each step that I take. As an added bonus, the gel padded heel provides just the right amount of extra padding right under the area that tends to need it the most.

As these slippers even boast a dual-density, non-skid, thermal plastic rubber outsole, they can easily be worn both indoors as well as outdoors without problem. While I tend to reserve them for staying in my house, they're so comfortable that I've found myself dropping my kids off or picking them up while still sporting this footwear!

Both useful and stylish, these versatile slippers can be worn year-round - they're even machine washable so that you don't have to worry about getting them a little dirty from the constant use that they're sure to get. I am hardly ever without them!

The Uplift Women's Synergy Thong comes in four colors with coordinating chakras (said to enhance your comfort and well-being) such as strength red, love pink, compassion green and creativity blue. They retail at department and specialty stores for $45 and are available in women’s size 6-10.

(Other than the Uplife Women's Synergy Thong Slippers I was provided by Smartdogs, I was not compensated or enticed to do this review in any way. This review is solely my honest opinion of this awesome product.)

I've totally been wanting to jump on the flip flop bandwagon but have never seen a pair that looked comfortable enough to do so until now. Woot! Thank you for the review.
