Prevent the Spread of Bacteria with Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes

Even though I feel like her first birthday was only last week, Big Sister E will be heading off to kindergarten in only a few short weeks.

While each year it seems like summer has only just kicked off when I begin to notice back to school supplies pop up in stores, this is the first time that I have had a list of my own to follow. Do we have the right lunchbox? A backpack? Tennis shoes? The particular markers, folders and glue sticks that her teacher has specified?

There is no doubt in my mind that Big Sister E is going to love kindergarten, as she has adored preschool and takes to pretty much any kind of learning quickly and easily. But while I'm excited for her to embark on this new adventure, I would be lying if I said that I didn't have any worries.

And even though there isn't anything that I can do to remove, say, the threat of bullies, at least I know that I can start small by helping rid my daughter's world of germs and bacteria thanks to Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes.

Considering how many items we touch just in our home in a day, the addition of heading back to school multiples the likelihood of coming into contact with germs by about two zillion percent, just as an estimate.

While I've come to terms with the fact that Big Sister E will be touching everything from dirt on the playground to paint brushes in art class, it's the idea of her unwashed hands then touching her food or going straight into her mouth that makes me feel a bit ill.

Every fall parents everywhere hope to make it through the upcoming months without their children (and themselves) coming down with too many colds and sicknesses, so this year I'm planning on having Wet Ones on hand to help prepare for back to school to follow through on that mission.

Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes

When soap and water are not available, Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes are an effective alternative to clean hands and prevent the spread of germs. These convenient, portable wipes are a "double-task" solution for cleaning up messes while killing 99.99% of bacteria, without drying out your skin like many alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

While I'd love to believe that Big Sister E will be washing her hands throughout the day at school (particularly before snack time and lunchtime), I'm instead going to be slipping these portable, individually wrapped single wipes from Wet Ones right into her lunchbox, backpack and jacket pockets.

She always does a wonderful job remembering to wash her hands before eating at home or at restaurants, so hopefully that will translate over to being able to quickly and conveniently wipe off her hands at school!

According to a WebMD article on preventing colds, scientists estimate that 80% of all infectious diseases are transmitted through hands, which is why it's important to keep hands clean and germ-free. This year, send your child back to school on the right path to staying healthy with Wet Ones and their wide variety of antibacterial hand wipe products.
