Beautiful and Heartfelt Mother's Day Greetings and Gifts from Hallmark {Review & Giveaway - 3 winners!}

Hallmark logo
While there is no one perfect gift for Mother's Day, I think moms everywhere can agree that the thought behind the item is what really counts. Whether we awaken to find breakfast in bed, a bouquet of flowers or a colorful craft project, what matters is that the day is filled with love, appreciation and care.

So when it comes to expressing our feelings, finding that gift can often take a great deal of time and searching. Which is why it is consistently easy for me to be impressed when Hallmark can take that task and make it simple year after year. How do they always know just what to put in their cards or how to design a gift that can pull at your heartstrings?

This year is no exception, as just in time for the 100th anniversary of Mother's Day 2014 (the holiday was officially declared by President Woodrow Wilson in 1914), Hallmark has released a new collection of Mother's Day greetings and a We Love You Because Pics ‘N’ Props frame kit.

Mother's Day gifts

After having spent the last 100 years helping people stay connected and best express their feelings, it isn't hard to see that there is so much more available than just the greeting cards that are most commonly associated with Hallmark (although those are always amazing).

Whether you're shopping in a Hallmark Gold Crown Store or searching their easy-to-browse website, finding the next gift, wrapping paper, ornament, album, card and more couldn't be easier and you'll always love the new products as well as the old.

As I have always been in awe of all of the new and innovative items that Hallmark debuts, I had no doubt that their new cards and gifts for Mother's Day would be just the thing to brighten Mom's special day.

Hallmark Mother's Day

It just wouldn't be Hallmark and it wouldn't be Mother's Day without a great selection of greeting cards! This year Hallmark has taken Mother's Day cards to a new level with a variety of innovations, designs and embellishments that can express your feelings perfectly.

No matter if you buy your mom cards that are sentimental and moving or ones that are lighthearted and funny, Hallmark always manages to find just the right touch to make the results special. I love the small details that they always include!

For instance, the Sarah Jessica Parker Collection includes 12 Mother’s Day cards created by SJP herself. These greetings pair vintage artwork from the Hallmark archives with modern touches and embellishments (who doesn't love a touch of glitter or jeweled attachments that sparkle?) along with the simple, authentic and heartfelt messages that are just right to give to your mom or friends.

Sarah Jessica Parker Hallmark cards

Or, for a classic way to show mom or grandma how special and unique she is, the Hallmark Signature Collection is created using beautiful papers, rich textures and innovative embellishments, not to mention that each one is handcrafted for that extra something that Hallmark knows how to provide!

Hallmark Mother's Day card

If you'd rather opt for greeting cards (and gifts) that are completely modern and new, I'm already in love with Hallmark's new Magic Prints!

This line of greeting cards and gifts were designed for kids to give Mom or Grandma a hand (their handprint) without any mess! Each Magic Print gift or card comes with a Magic Mitt that is used to apply the colorless, nontoxic Magic Solution to a child's hands or feet (or a pet's!), before pressing on the Magic Paper.

The result is a colorful print that magically appears and turns a traditional card or gift into one that will be kept and cherished for many years to come!

Hallmark Magic Prints

For another amazing way to provide Mom with a homemade, one-of-a-kind gift is with Hallmark's new We Love You Because kit from their Pics 'n' Props line.

Coming complete with a four-photo frame, a chalkboard and chalk, this simple collection of items results in a way for multiple family members to call out their favorite things about Mom or Grandma... and can then be left the same or changed to reflect new, fun thoughts as the years pass by!

Hallmark pics 'n' props

I completely adore this kit (it retails for $24.95) and, while I know that my mother and mother-in-law would really love to receive it this Mother's Day, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to not-so-subtly let my husband know that this is the DIY gift that I expect to find waiting for me on May 11th!

Whether you pick out a card that is simple and classic or elaborate and modern, Hallmark's huge variety of designs, styles and colors are sure to supply you with just the right words to convey to Mom how much she is loved... and she'll want to hang onto it for years to come.

This Mother's Day, give Mom something new and different that shows her how much you care by heading to Hallmark.com or your nearest Hallmark Gold Crown store to pick up a gift that is nearly guaranteed to surprise and delight.

And, thanks to their generosity, three people will have just the right way to celebrate many upcoming occasions, because...

THREE lucky people will win a 10-card pack of greeting cards as well as a special gift from Hallmark (total ARV $40)!

Hallmark giveaway

A big thank you to Hallmark for providing the above items for me to review as well as greeting cards and special gifts for three lucky giveaway winners. The opinions shared are my own and honest and if you really need to see more, click here to see how I roll.
