The New Turbie Twist and Turbie Band Hair Towels {Review & Giveaway}

Turbie Twist logo{This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, Danielle!}

What is it about children and the way that an item immediately has so much more interest if it belongs to someone else?

That stick was just a stick until a friend started waving it around and now I must have it. That piece of bread wasn't what I wanted to eat until I saw Dad pick it up and now I must have it. And that innovative and unique towel that wraps easily and stays put on top of your head? It looked far too simple for me to care until I saw Mom love it and now? Now I must have it.

Case in point: the amazing Turbie Twist.

Turbie TwistAfter our Turbie Twist review a few months ago, I was sold on just how convenient and helpful these super-absorbent twist and loop towels truly are. Instead of trying to figure out how to wind and balance a traditional bath towel on my head (which promptly fell back down the moment I bent slightly), the Turbie Twist's innovative design allows it to fit securely and stay in place for as long as I need it.

So, considering that I was happy to include the Turbie hair towelTwist into my daily routine, that only led to the inevitable. You guessed it: they must have it. Little Sister B did seem to be a slightly bigger fan of the Turbie Twist than Big Sister E, but that didn't stop them both from enjoying and trying to take turns with it.

Fortunately, the makers of the Turbie Twist have come out with a new product, the Turbie Band, and when they sent that over, they thankfully sent another of the original as well.

All can now be right in the world.

Turbie TwistThese unique microfiber towels are great for children, as the girls simply have to tilt their head forward for a few moments for me to get their hair and the Turbie Twist in place. Then, with a quick twist of the wrist and a tuck of the tail into the elastic loop, it doesn't move until we take it off.

Each time I'm amazed that it can withstand Little Sister B's bending and climbing and jumping and other crazy antics that she goes through while getting ready for bed, but it does.

Even better, the Turbie Twist is so absorbent that by the time we have her pajamas on, Little Sister B's hair is nearly dry. No having to force her under the hair dryer or put her to sleep with a wet head - it's the perfect solution!

So, with all the success that we've had with the Turbie Twist, would we like the new Turbie Band?

Turbie BandThe Turbie Band is an elastic, microfiber headband that allows you the freedom that the Turbie Twist provides but without being designated only for post-shower use. Instead, any time you want to wash your face, apply or remove makeup or even give yourself a facial, you can simply slip this band on and all of your hair will be held back and out of the way.

You have the option of leaving your hair hanging down behind the Turbie Band or, thanks to the unique wide, stretchy design, you can actually tuck all of your hair right in to the back. You're left with it completely out of your face and are able to enjoy the "No Hair Face Care" that this band can provide!

I have found the Turbie Band to be especially helpful when I'm getting ready for bed, as I typically end up with water well into my hairline when I'm washing my face. Now any and all loose pieces of hair are kept in place and it is so easy to pull this band on and off when I need it.

For a functional, innovative, affordable, extremely convenient (machine washable!) and very versatile way to hold your hair up and out of the way, the Turbie Twist and the Turbie Band are items that you won't want to live without once you've tried them. Available now at www.buyturbietwist.com, you will receive FOUR Turbie Twists and one Turbie Band for only $19.99 plus shipping and handling.

And, thanks to their generosity, one person will be prepared to keep their hair comfortably in place at any point of the day, because...

One lucky person will win four Turbie Twists and a Turbie Band!

Both the Turbie Twist and Turbie Band would be very useful to me. Sometimes I like to do a quick shampoo in the kitchen but I have to go upstairs for a towel. The Turbie Twist is small enough to leave in a drawer and have it handy. The Turbie Band would be great for keeping all my hair, including those wispy little fly around bits out of my face while I have a face mask on.
