Nutrisystem {Week 10}

Nutrisystem Even before I weighed myself this morning, I was already satisfied that this week's Nutrisystem success had occurred.

You know how when you see someone that you haven't seen in a while and you think Oh, I wish I had spent more time on my hair this morning or Geez, today is the day that I chose to wear a wrinkled shirt? Well, I've had those notions in the past but they have always also been accompanied by thoughts of how much I wished I could have lost a little weight as well.

Of course the most important aspect of weight loss is the health benefits, I know that. But let's be honest, we all want to look good, too. It's just human nature.

So this week when I ran into someone who I haven't seen in months (and she and I have, let's just say, a past), my inner voice was so proud of me. I was wearing a cute top that hasn't been out of the closet in a while (because it hadn't fit) and jeans from The Pile Of Jeans and I just felt good.

Sure, I haven't reached my goal yet and there have been some days that have been much harder than others on my Nutrisystem journey, but that feeling that I got this week... I could get used to that.

I want to get used to that.

I know for a solid fact that I wouldn't have lost the weight that I have these past 10 weeks if it wasn't for this opportunity and now I'm just looking to the future. To live a healthier life... and to walk out the door knowing that even if I didn't brush my hair or I've pulled a crunched up t-shirt off of the floor, that I can still be happy with the way that I look.

So this morning I figured I would be okay with whatever the scale told me and stepped on to find...

Nutrisystem NationStarting weight: Too much

Week 1: -3.0 lbs         Week 6: -0.8 lbs
Week 2: -3.0 lbs         Week 7: -0.8 lbs
Week 3: -1.0 lbs         Week 8: -1.4 lbs
Week 4: -1.4 lbs         Week 9: -1.0 lbs
Week 5: -1.0 lbs         Week 10: -1.0 lbs

Total loss: 14.4 lbs

I will fully admit that even though it has been 10 weeks, I'm still shocked when I see a smaller number appear... and so, so excited about it! Another pound gone is another pound that isn't hanging around unnecessarily on my body and it's another step closer to getting where I would really like to be. I truly do owe it all to Nutrisystem!

I'm just going to state right here that I'm taking credit for you wearing jeans from the pile of jeans.

So maybe you did the weight loss part of it...but I did the rest. lol
