Nutrisystem {Week 11}

Nutrisystem Up until recently, I'm not sure if I had even heard of National Nutrition Month before.

Alas, I've not only been informed, but it's here!

And thanks to Nutrisystem, I'm clearly already celebrating March as National Nutrition Month by eating right and getting a little bit healthier each week as I lose even a tiny bit more weight every time I step on the scale.

Before I even weighed myself this morning I took a moment to think about the fact that 14.4 pounds is an awfully large number for someone who has never been able to stick with a weight loss or diet plan ever before. So even if I would rather see larger amounts gone, I have to remember how well I have done so far and that the overall picture is looking bright. Really bright.

Along with recognizing the health and weight loss goals that we all have this month, Nutrisystem has yet another way to help us all out by the informative and interesting posts that they have up on the Nutrisystem Blog.

Nutrisystem blogWhether you're looking to learn about weight loss, nutrition or just how to lead a healthier lifestyle, this blog has a ton of great tips on a whole range of topics that relate to us all. From how to incorporate your family into your weight loss to what the word "cheating" means in dieting (and why we should eliminate it) to strategies for eating out and more, there are so many posts on the Nutrisystem Blog that I thought were a great read.

It all boils down to this: it's time to get healthy!

Speaking of which, I wasn't sure at all what the scale would tell me in terms of where another week had put me in my Nutrisystem journey, but that didn't stop me from taking a deep breath and stepping on...

Nutrisystem NationStarting weight: Too much

Week 1: -3.0 lbs         Week 6: -0.8 lbs
Week 2: -3.0 lbs         Week 7: -0.8 lbs
Week 3: -1.0 lbs         Week 8: -1.4 lbs
Week 4: -1.4 lbs         Week 9: -1.0 lbs
Week 5: -1.0 lbs         Week 10: -1.0 lbs
Week 11: -0.6 lbs

Total loss: 15 lbs

Nothing huge this week, but I'm telling myself that .6 pounds counts as something. I've still lost 15 pounds! 15! Again, for someone who has never succeeded at a single weight loss program in the past, 15 pounds is amazing!

And of course I'm still overjoyed with having had the opportunity to try Nutrisystem and have such a great way to get healthy - this program truly has been the answer that I've always needed. Loss is always good. You're not gaining and that's wonderful. You may only see it as 15 lbs., but it's 15 lbs. GONE! Go, Xenia!
