When it comes to spending time enjoying the outdoors and nature, there is an endless list as to what makes our National Parks so great. Every year, there are hundreds of millions of people who visit them to enjoy their beauty and preserving these landscapes for generations to come is something that we can all be a part of.
Fortunately, there are amazing companies like Energizer who are committed to helping the National Park Foundation and are dedicated to their plans and the National Parks Program... and now they want to get all of us involved as well.
Having teamed up with the National Park Foundation to launch a public effort to power and preserve America’s national parks, Energizer and outdoor enthusiast, Peter Facinelli (of The Twilight Saga and Nurse Jackie) are currently launching this noteworthy program. Not only bringing awareness to the importance of preserving our country’s greatest natural resources, but the National Parks Program also gives people a number of ways to get involved:
National Park Week
This past week (from April 16 through April 24), the country has been celebrating National Park Week. Not only can everyone receive free admission to all national parks this week, but people can also text BUNNY to 27722 to trigger a $1 donation from Energizer to the National Park Foundation, up to $50,000. Energizer’s goal is to donate $400,000 to the National Park Foundation this spring, and the public can help them get there.
Right now in stores specially-marked Energizer products contain a special code so when someone buys three participating products, he or she can go online to www.nowthatspositivenergy.com/
Get Hands On
For the people who prefer to get more hands-on, they can RSVP to join a now that’s positivenergy™ national park volunteer event by visiting www.nowthatspositivenergy.com/
