I know that I'm not the only mom out there that could use some closet organization for Mother's Day. What is it about clothing that makes it so difficult to just get rid of something? Even if it hasn't seen the light of day in months (if not years) and my husband is complaining that it is long out of style... it's still hard.
I feel like I have clothes that are for specific seasons and occasions and seldom are pulled out, but does that mean that I don't need them? I mean, what if I get rid of that skirt and then it just so happens that I need that particular one? Because, for me, wearing something other than sweats or jeans and a t-shirt just isn't a simple thing.
After having two children, my body isn't the same as it was back when I could pull any dress off of the rack and like the way that it looked. Now, even if I happen to find one that is my style and taste, there is a good chance it would need a cardigan to go over it or a tank top to go underneath it... and then what were the chances that it would be right for more than one type of event?
Thankfully, that's where Shabby Apple and their gorgeous collection of simple yet extremely stylish and versatile clothing steps in.
From classic black dresses to sassy and flirty styles to a sophisticated look to refine your wardrobe, Shabby Apple makes getting fashionably dressed simple. Instead of requiring layers underneath or on top of your dress to complete the look or make you feel more comfortable and covered, the only thing you have to add to a Shabby Dress is a pair of shoes... and accessories, if that's your thing.
With the entire Shabby Apple website broken into clear categories to help you navigate from the women's dresses to the maternity dresses with ease, it's easy to fall in love with so many of the stylish options available. For instance, I think the Sierra Nevada dress is beautiful and classic while also being modern and unique.
The simple, slim shape and teal color are given that little extra something with the addition of the sweet petals along the upper bodice. This dress could easily be worn for a casual day outdoors with flats (or cowboy boots, like this model prefers) or it could be jazzed up with heels for a special occasion.
Or, for a look that really embraces the long-awaited spring, I think the Sheep Meadow dress would be a really fun addition to warm weather days.
The combination of the Kelly green and white stripes and the full circle skirt are really cute and the overall flowing silhouette is quite flattering. Show up at a summer party in this trendy dress and I'm sure you'd receive loads of comments and compliments!
When it comes to turning heads in a dress, however, nothing beats an adorable little girl. There's something magical that happens when they twirl and turn and you can just see the sparkle... Little Sister B calls most any dress a "Princess Dress," and it melts my heart every time. I can only imagine how much she (and I) would adore so many of the gorgeous girls' dresses from Shabby Apple!
With many different styles of dresses available, Shabby Apple is one site that has clothing that can be dressed up or down for a wide array of occasions that will leave the wearer feeling confident and beautiful. Whether you prefer classic or trendy, you know that you'll end up with something stylish and flattering that you'll love to put on.
Prices at Shabby Apple are on the higher end (the women's dresses above sell for $92 and $88, respectively), but you get what you pay for with their top notch quality and unique fashion. Or, if you're looking for a deal, there are also some nice finds in the Under $50 or Sale sections that will have you looking great for less.
