Fun in the Sun #2: Summer Infant Disney Pretty as a Princess or Lil' Speedster Booster Seat {Review & Giveaway}

When it comes to taking care of infants and toddlers in the summer, it seems to add an extra level of complexity to it all. On top of the usual eating, sleeping, and safety issues that moms are typically focusing on, all of a sudden travel is thrown into the mix.

From road trips across the country to an overnight stay at Grandma's house to all-day family reunions in the park, the need to have portable items for on-the-go living greatly increases when the weather warms up.

When the Disney Pretty as a Princess Booster arrived, I knew we were not only in for an upgrade, but such an adorably fun one at that.

Opening the box, I was happy to see that there was almost no assembly required to put this throne together and have it ready for use.

After simply opening and snapping the seat back into place, I popped each of the four feet into their respective holes (everything was clearly labeled, making it easy to get them in the correct place), and threaded the chair straps onto the back and bottom.

And then it was set to go! I appreciate all of the adjustable options that Summer Infant included on this booster seat, as the ability to choose between three height levels and multiple settings for the removable and dishwasher-safe tray ensures that your child can have a custom fit even as they grow.

I also really like the way that this booster seat is designed to fold down into a smaller, easily-portable size so that you can bring it along with you when you travel or just when it needs to be stored for future use.

Unfolding and setting things up is effortless and in just minutes after having opened the box, Little Sister B now had a place to sit that is truly fit for a princess.

Even though she was the one who had picked out the Pretty as a Princess design, Little Sister B was still extremely excited when she saw this booster seat set up and waiting for her and kept saying, "Princess! Princess!" as she admired the decorative girly design.

Climbing right in, she was happy to snap on the 3-point restraint system and admire just how pink and comfortable she was.

The quality, safety, and style of the Disney Pretty as a Princess Booster are exactly what I would expect from Summer Infant and the convenience and ease of cleaning are just what parents need when it comes to taking care of their growing child. Whether your little one is new to feeding themselves or an old pro, this booster seat makes for a perfect fit.

I love being able to wipe the whole thing down quickly and the ability to fold it down is a great feature that is perfect for summer and beyond.
