The Fairy Hobmother Made My Day! Will You Be Next?

Most days when I wake up and check my email, I'm likely to find a variety of messages waiting for me.

Whether they end up being from family, friends, complete strangers, blog-related, or more, they manage to keep me entertained or scratching my head or raising my eyebrows while I enjoy my coffee.

But then there are days like yesterday morning where I had a complete and utter surprise: a visit from the Fairy Hobmother.

That's right, I said Fairy Hobmother.

Fairy HobmotherThe awesome people over at Appliances Online (the UK's largest online appliance specialists) like to take a break from doing things like promoting the Bosch Logixx range of appliances or beating their competitors in low prices to pay visits to extremely lucky bloggers like me.

And when the Fairy Hobmother (also known as an extremely nice guy named Ian) arrives? Well, he showers you in the type of fairy dust that everyone can appreciate: Amazon gift cards.

Pretty much one of the best kinds of surprise fairy dust out there, isn't it?

This is one of the kindest, most generous, most fun ideas that I've seen a company come up with and I'm so happy to get to be a part of it. (I'm not going to lie, I'm also pretty excited about being able to put this awesome gift certificate towards my Amazon wishlist. The Fairy Hobmother is definitely generous!)

So what do you have to do to get your own visit? There aren't any strings attached or hoops to jump though, all you have to do is leave a comment right on this post so that the Fairy Hobmother can see it and hopefully come stop by with some fairy dust for you!

Feel free to comment on what you think of Appliances Online for running such a cool campaign, if you've heard of the Fairy Hobmother before, an item on your wishlist that you might put your gift certificate towards or whatever else is on your mind... and then who knows? Maybe you'll open your email one morning to find that Ian has made your day as well!

(I was provided an Amazon gift card from the Fairy Hobmother and, by writing this post and providing a place for you to leave comments, YOU might be next!)
