Some days I feel as though from the moment I wake up in the morning (usually to Little Sister B standing over me with a big grin) to the time I drop into bed at night, my mind and my body are constantly racing.
Are we prepared for the day? Are we going to make it on time? Have we forgotten anything? Did I return that email and that phone call and then 10 more emails? Wait, what day is it today, anyway?
So when the time comes that I'm able to bury my face in my pillow and turn my brain off for some rest, I want things to be as calm, inviting, and comforting as possible. For me, that comes in the form of quiet and, without a doubt, an amazing set of sheets.
It's all about the feeling of the softest, lavish fabric against my skin to lull me into relaxation... which is exactly what I've been doing recently thanks to the Bamboo Sheets at Green Earth Bamboo.
Available in solids and prints, the bamboo bedding from Green Earth Bamboo has spoiled me rotten.
Now that I have had the chance to feel the luxurious softness of the 100% viscose from bamboo, there is just no way to want to sleep on any other types of fabric. Containing a 250 thread count, these sheets feel softer than silk or cotton and are somewhat indescribable until you've tried them yourself.
From the moment the Chocolate-colored bamboo drawstring bag arrived, I was eager to enjoy the splendor for myself.
Sure enough, the viscose from bamboo was smooth and light and I could already feel the anti-static and extra-absorption properties that it contains. The rich chocolate brown was just as warm and vibrant as I had hoped it would be and it was all that I could do to not put these on and climb right into bed.
Opting instead to wash them first, after a run through the washing machine and dryer, I placed these sheets on the bed and proceeded to let the spoiling begin.
Ah, the sumptuousness.
I've been sleeping on these sheets for a while now and, aside from pulling them off to quickly wash and replace them, they haven't left the bed. As well as feeling amazing to snuggle into, I love that the viscose from bamboo has so many great aspects to it that only add to the quality - it is organic, naturally antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, and has natural wicking abilities to absorb more than regular sheets.
Being that I am someone who likes the feel of a tall pile of blankets on me no matter what the temperature might be outside, I've definitely appreciated being able to wake up, kick off the extra layers and, although I feel toasty, I'm not sweaty like I might be with other bedding.
I really couldn't ask for more - I love these sheets!
But Green Earth Bamboo offers much more than just a great night's sleep, they have everything from bamboo clothing...
...to bamboo bath items that are sure to wrap you in softness right out of the bathtub or while simply lounging...
...to bamboo baby products for infants through toddlers to enjoy just as much.
No matter if you are familiar with the practical, sustainable nature of viscose from bamboo or not, the next time you need a gift, housewarming present, or just want to pamper yourself, you'll find an amazing selection at Green Earth Bamboo.
Not only will your lucky recipient be thrilled with your selection, but you'll have the knowledge that you've been eco-friendly in the process - Green Earth Bamboo is even approved by Green America as a company that helps promote social justice and environmental sustainability... and who doesn't want to support that?
Although the prices for Green Earth Bamboo's luxurious products are higher than some of the apparel or home goods that you would find in the store (the Bed Sheet Set retails for $188 - $274 for solid colors and $310 - $340 for prints), they are easily MUCH higher quality.
You'll also receive free shipping on orders over $200 and, from now until October 28, 2011, be sure to enter the coupon code XENIA2011 on your order of $95 or more and you'll receive an extra $10 discount.
And, thanks to the generosity of Green Earth Bamboo, one person will be able to select their own favorite item to enjoy as well, because...
