JustKidCostumes.com {I Love Lucy Child Costume Review}

JustKidCostumes.com logoWith Halloween rapidly approaching, my girls have pretty much been ready and waiting for the moment that they can pull out their costumes and head out for some fun. Whether that means donning their outfit to school or setting off for trick-or-treating, this is one holiday that kids can really get into.

But Halloween would never be the same if all of our friends weren't just as excited and prepared, because what fun is getting dressed up if you don't have your best pals to do it with you? Having visited and found a collection of costumes and party supplies for kids of all ages at JustKidCostumes.com, we knew that it would have just what we needed to get all of our friends ready for October 31st.

Halloween costumesWhether your child wants to dress as a ninja, pirate, princess, insect, witch or much, much more, JustKidCostumes.com has a great selection for infants, toddlers and kids. Their site is conveniently broken down into enough ages and genres so that it only takes a click or two to find just what is on your list (while not worrying that your child will come across adult costumes that you would rather them not see).

Plus, with their innovative Dress Up Room, you can easily upload your child's photo right onto the website and virtually "try on" a variety of fun costumes to see how they'll look... or just to get a good laugh!

online dress upSo, when we found out that one of our close friends is a huge I Love Lucy fan, what better way to spread our love of Halloween than by visiting JustKidCostumes and finding just the right adorable I Love Lucy Polka Dot Child Costume for her?

I Love Lucy costumeArriving complete with the satin polka dot dress, apron, and satin hair bow all in a convenient storage/hanging bag, right away it was easy to tell that transforming into Lucy wasn't going to be all that difficult.

I Love Lucy dress upAlthough this costume is a child's size medium (7 - 10) and slightly too large for Big Sister E, we couldn't help trying it on to see just what the overall resulting look would be.

I appreciated immediately that the dress is all one piece and easily slips on right over the child's head, closing with a few pieces of Velcro on the upper back. Simply tie Lucy's apron on after and you're ready to go find Ricky.

I Love Lucy costume reviewBig Sister E commented on how comfortable she was while wearing this and, even though she doesn't have the signature red hair (the I Love Lucy wig is sold separately), the bow in her hair and the heart insignia on the apron did do a good job of completing the look.

I Love LucyPlus, she's got the laughter thing down and that's a pretty darn good Lucy trait, right?

I Love Lucy child costumeWith a retail price of $37.99, the I Love Lucy Polka Dot Child Costume is listed on JustKidCostumes for $30.56 and will be sure to bring fun and entertainment to any young fan. Although the directions state to hand wash only, this would be a great addition to any dress-up collection when not being worn for Halloween.

As the end of October draws near, instead of seeing the same old, same old costumes available in the store, shopping online at JustKidCostumes.com is fast, easy and convenient. No matter what your child wants to be this year, they'll have the options that are sure to please.

Plus, who doesn't love a discount? Simply enter the coupon code BLOGGER10 and receive 10% off of your order (excludes shipping and cannot be combined with any other offer), but hurry! This promo code is only valid through October 16, 2011, so be sure to visit JustKidCostumes.com (and check them out on Facebook and Twitter) today.

(Other than the I Love Lucy Polka Dot Child Costume I was provided by JustKidCostumes.com and MomSelect, I was not compensated or enticed to do this review in any way. This review is solely my honest opinion of this website and their products.)

That is the cutest costume! I have never seen an I Love Lucy Costume. Are you going to get her a red wig to go with it?
