Tiny Prints Knows that Moms are Awesome

With Mother's Day just around the corner, sometimes I still find it hard to believe that I'm in the "celebrant" category and not just the "celebrators." How old will my kids be before I stop looking at them and thinking, Holy smokes. Those are MY children! I'm somebody's MOTHER!

Nonetheless, the holiday is almost here and as much as I love a day of being pampered and waited on, it's also nice to hear what my girls think about their mom and just how cool I am. Who doesn't want to hear that?

Tiny Prints, my favorite site for cards and invitations of all kinds, wanted to know what my kids' answer to "What Makes Mommy Awesome?" would be. And, even though I assumed my 4-year-old would just ramble and my 2-year-old wouldn't say anything decipherable, I figured it would give me a good laugh to find out...

Clearly, I was right about getting that laugh.

I actually really like the idea of asking this or a similar question every year and seeing how the answers change. As my kids get older and understand more about what I'm asking, they actually might have an answer that would warm my heart a little more and be a little less humorous.

(Although I have to admit that Big Sister E's comment about me being awesome when I shave my legs is pretty priceless.)

This May, Tiny Prints has the Mother's Day cards that are sure to make mom friends, moms, mothers-in-law and more smile. Whether you're telling her she's doing a great job or thanking her for being there for you, there is a high quality, stylish option that you're both sure to enjoy.

What are your plans for Mother's Day? Do your kids think you're awesome?

(I was provided with a Tiny Prints gift certificate in exchange for this post, however, it in no way affected my opinion of this website and their wonderful products.)
