All-Clad Debuts New B3 Bonded Aluminum Cookware Collection {Review}

On days that motivation hits me, I wish that I could bottle it and keep it for use later on as well.

Those times that I just can't bring myself to clean up the crumbs off of the floor yet again, pack one more child's lunch, or scrub one more bathroom sink, it would just be nice to reach into my storage reservoir to get myself going again.

As well as cleaning and packing lunches, another area that would definitely deplete much of my supply would have to be cooking. There are some days where it's something fun, giving me a sense of productivity and even a little creativity... while other days it's just a necessity so that the kids don't end up with their sixth peanut butter and jelly sandwich of the week.

But whether I'm in the mood to try something elaborate and new or just want to throw together a quick meal that I'm sure my family will love, I've come to learn that a lot depends on the cookware. Originally I had assumed that a pan is a pan and a pot is a pot...but now that I have been introduced to companies like All-Clad and their amazing, high quality pieces, I know that just isn't the case.

All-Clad pots and pans

Originally designed to meet the demands of professional chefs, All-Clad is the undisputed choice in top culinary circles and four-star kitchens throughout the world. Thanks to the ability to purchase their incredible cookware from sites such as Bed, Bath & Beyond, All-Clad is also a prized possession of uncompromising home cooks.

Most recently, the All-Clad cookware that has been making a splash in the cooking world is their new B3 Bonded Aluminum collection (which debuted exclusively at Bed, Bath & Beyond). After hearing about the innovation and craftsmanship that went into this line, I was eager to see the All-Clad B3 Hard Anodized Bonded Induction Aluminum 3-Quart Covered Saucepan in person.

A perfect 3-quart size, the B3 Covered Saucepan is a versatile essential in every kitchen. Used for everything from sauces to vegetables to pasta to nearly any sort of cooking that you might do, this innovative and high quality pot is easy to clean and even easier to use.

As I admired it from all angles, I was already feeling as though my cooking was in for an upgrade.

The first thing I noticed right away with this saucepan is just how heavy it is! This is far from a regular stainless steel pan, as it weighs a great deal more and just has a solid, high quality feeling in your hands. When All-Clad bonded three layers of heavy gauge aluminum, they clearly knew what they were doing!

Due to the weight, I appreciate the extra handle on this pan, as it makes it easy and comfortable to pick it up to move from the stove to the sink or table. Even better, both of the stainless steel handles fit well in my hands and stay cool to the touch throughout the cooking process, so I never have to worry about grabbing hold.

When it comes to cooking, I love that this saucepan includes high, straight sides and a smaller surface area, ensuring that it holds heat well and limits evaporation. At the same time, the flared rim provides drip-free pouring and the layered non-stick interior (PFOA free) is extremely easy to clean. No matter what sauce or liquid is cooked, it washes off easily — or the entire thing can go in the dishwasher if I'm feeling extra lazy!

When it comes out, everything from the interior to the durable (stain, scratch and abrasion-resistant) exterior to the commercial strong stainless steel base are shiny, clean and ready for their next use!

As the perfect accessory, the glass lid that accompanies the 3-Quart Covered Saucepan is just as durable and solid as the pan itself and makes it a snap to control evaporation and see how cooking is going with a single glance.

If you've previously thought that all pots and pans are created equal, using All-Clad's B3 Hard Anodized Bonded Induction Aluminum cookware will make you think otherwise! The technology that they've put into these pieces truly exemplifies All-Clad’s continued commitment to performance, quality, and durability.

For use on the stove or in the oven (this saucepan is oven safe up to 500° so moving it into the oven for cooking or warming is no problem!) this pan has only provided superior nonstick cooking, easy cleanup and delicious results every time!

Available from Bed, Bath & Beyond as open stock, in a 2-piece fry pan set ($59.99), 5-piece set ($249.99), or 10-piece set ($599.99), there is an All-Clad option that is sure to work in your kitchen or make an amazing gift this holiday season. The 3-Quart Covered Saucepan retails for $89.99 and can make time spent in the kitchen, as well as the resulting mealtime afterward, more enjoyable for amateur or experienced cooks!

Other than the 3-Quart Covered Saucepan that I was provided by All-Clad to facilitate my review, I was not compensated or enticed to do this review in any way. This post is solely my honest opinion of this product.
