Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack {Review}

In case you missed the news around here, we've been a little excited about a certain princess ever since hosting our own Disney Princess Royal Ball.

As soon as the girls found out that Disney was re-releasing the classic, beloved tale of Cinderella, they caught the princess spirit and have been dancing, twirling and singing their way through just about every possible occasion.

So what could extend the princess love even further? Today's release of the 2-Movie Collection Special Edition of Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist In Time!

Cinderella II and III movie

Unveiled today, November 20th, for the first time on Blu-ray, this 2-movie special continues Cinderella's magical journey... but for a limited time only, so don't delay picking this up today.

As soon as my girls realized that they were going to be able to catch up with their favorite characters but with double the magic and memorable music, they couldn't wait to tune in. The mouse calls her Cinderelly, Mommy! Can we see it?!

Cinderella II: Dreams Come True Special Edition

As a newly crowned princess, Cinderella quickly learns that life at the Palace — and her royal responsibilities are more challenging than she had imagined. In three heartwarming tales, Cinderella calls on her animal friends and her Fairy Godmother to help as she brings her own grace and charm to her regal role and discovers that being true to yourself is the best way to make your dreams come true.

Bonus Features:
  • Becoming a Princess – 1st Edition (New for Special Edition)
  • A girl will go to "princess school" to receive tips on how to behave like royalty, then become physically transformed into a Disney Princess (dress, hair, make-up) at the Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boutique in Walt Disney World. Now dressed as a princess, she will practice what she learned.
  • Musical Magic
  • "Put It Together" Music Video

Cinderella III: A Twist In Time Special Edition

Princess Cinderella is living a charmingly perfect life until her stepmother gets her hands on Fairy Godmother's magic wand. With a wicked spell that turns back the clock, she erases the Prince's memories of the girl he met at the ball and shatters Cinderella’s happily ever after! Jaq and Gus scurry to save the day before time runs out. But was it all really just a dream in Cinderella's heart, or will true love triumph over all?

Bonus Features:
  • Becoming a Princess – 2nd Edition (New for Special Edition)
  • A girl will go to "princess school" to receive tips on how to behave like royalty, then become physically transformed into a Disney Princess (dress, hair, make- up) at the Bibbidi-Bobbidi Boutique in Walt Disney World. Now dressed as a princess, she will practice what she learned.

With a feature running time of 74 minutes for each film, we have found that each Cinderella tale is just the right length to keep the girls' attention and entertained. I appreciate that while they focus on the ball gowns and majestic aspects, that both of these films also encourage positive qualities such as being yourself, following your heart, and that good triumphs over evil. I have no doubt that we'll be watching this again and again!

With a suggested retail price of $39.99 for the 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack and $29.99 for the 2-Disc DVD, Cinderella II: Dreams Come True and Cinderella III: A Twist In Time is a great holiday gift for the princess in your life.
