Fireman Sam: Brave New Rescues DVD {Review}

Although my daughters definitely have their favorite characters from television and movies, they are continually excited when we catch a glimpse of one that we haven't seen before. It's like meeting a new friend!

So when Fireman Sam: Brave New Rescues arrived, they couldn't wait to get to know him and cheer him on as he saved the day.

Available now on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment, Fireman Sam: Brave New Rescues has a target age range of 2 - 5. What child that age doesn't think that firefighters are awfully amazing?

With a level head, a courageous nature and a compassionate heart, Sam is a role model for kids of all ages, teaching lessons in safety, loyalty, leadership, cooperation and friendship. Whether showing the community the importance of honesty, setting sail on the sea, organizing a surprise party or hosting a fire station open house, Fireman Sam and the folks of Pontypandy are there for you.

With a running time of 55 minutes, Big Sister E and Little Sister B were entertained by the music, accents, and action in this DVD as Fireman Sam participated in heroic adventures in fire safety. He and his friends worked together to save the day when Mike's kitchen caught fire, Dilys got stuck out at sea, and Norman cried wolf.

Episodes included in this title are:
  • Cry Wolf
  • Blow Me Down
  • Dilys' Big Surprise
  • Model Plane
  • Open Day
  • Mike's Rocket
Throughout it all, they were happy to be able to join this new hero and his brave brigade and see what courageous adventure and daring new rescue he would go on next. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing more of Fireman Sam in the future!

Available now with a retail price of $9.98 (or on Amazon for $8.99), Fireman Sam: Brave New Rescues is a fun addition to any at-home library, particularly for kids who are excited about all things firefighter!

(Other than the information and Fireman Sam: Brave New Rescues DVD that I was provided by Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment, I was not compensated or enticed or to do this review in any way. This review is solely my honest opinion of this DVD and its contents.)
