Preschool Fun DVD {Review}

Whenever my family is preparing for a car ride, one of the first things that we reach for are the DVDs. My daughters are able to entertain themselves (looking out the window, talking about the trucks, exclaiming at the cows, etc) to an extent, but when the boredom starts to kick in, turning on a movie is always a surefire way to keep the peace.

However, the problem then is usually deciding which one. What if one child wants to watch Barney while the other wants to see Timmy Time? What if we just happened to bring along Angelina Ballerina when the consensus is for Thomas & Friends?

Thankfully, Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment have completely solved any of those problems with their brand new collection of eight episodes of various favorite characters in Preschool Fun.

Arriving on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand today, July 5, 2011, this all-new line-up includes everyone's lovable friends: Barney, Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Kipper, Roary the Racing Car, and Timmy Time. I love being able to have all of these great pals together in one place to teach lessons about friendship, responsibility, cooperation, loyalty, sharing, and more!

With a focus on learning and fun, the variety of adventures that these preschool friends get into are cute and exciting. Whether you are creating a dance-tastic school poster with Angelina Ballerina, saving a school bus with Fireman Sam or building a pirate ship with Bob the Builder, there's something that all ages and interests are sure to enjoy.

Episodes included are:
  • Barney - Days of the Week
  • Thomas & Friends - Best Friends
  • Fireman Sam - Sheep On the Road
  • Bob the Builder - Scratch's Star Turn
  • Angelina Ballerina - Angelina and the Poster
  • Kipper - Pig's Sweater
  • Roary the Racing Car - Roary Goes Back to School
  • Timmy Time - Timmy's Jigsaw
Similar to deciding to listen to one artist sing over and over or listen to a compilation of eight of your favorites, having all of these well-adored episodes in one place just makes sense! With a total running time of 66 minutes, each clip is long enough to convey a full plot yet short enough that moving on the next one keeps the interest level very high.

If you have a child who is a fan of any or all of these characters or if you're looking for a gift that is sure to please, Preschool Fun is a mixture of all things fun and has the assortment of friends, lessons, and laughter to make everyone happy. Available now and retailing for $14.98 (or on Amazon for $11.99 and free shipping), bring home some variety today!

(Other than the information and Preschool Fun DVD that I was provided by Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment, I was not compensated or enticed or to do this review in any way. This review is solely my honest opinion of this DVD and its contents.)

My kids would love this! I think a DVD like this with different short shows is perfect for little ones with short attention spans.
